The Taarak Herbicide Dose Per Litre is 0.5–0.6 ml per litre of water — equivalent to 100–120 ml per acre in 150–200 litres of water and 7.5–9 ml per 15L pump.

Drain the paddy field water completely before spraying Taarak herbicide — weeds must be fully exposed above the waterline for adequate spray contact and leaf absorption.
Measure 100–120 ml of Tata Taarak per acre as per the dose table above.
Add to a sprayer tank with 150–200 litres of clean water and mix well before applying.
Use a flat fan nozzle for uniform broadcast coverage — do not use hollow cone nozzles that concentrate spray in spots.
Apply when weeds are at the 2–5 leaf stage — do not spray after the 5-leaf weed stage as efficacy drops sharply with weed maturity.
Wait 48–72 hours after spraying before reflooding the field with 3–5 cm of water — standing water after this interval suppresses new weed flushes after the initial kill.
Do not apply Taarak herbicide if rain is expected within 6 hours of spraying.
Slight temporary yellowing of rice leaves may occur after application — the crop recovers fully within 10–14 days without yield loss.
Apply Tata Taarak in the early morning or late evening. For transplanted Paddy, apply 15–25 days after transplanting. For direct-seeded rice, apply 15–20 days after sowing. Always target the 2–5 weed leaf stage — early, timely application gives the cleanest weed kill and the longest weed-free period for the crop.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed post-emergence application at the 2–5 weed leaf stage is generally sufficient for season-long weed management in transplanted Paddy. A second application may be needed if a new flush of late-emerging weeds appears after the residual period.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated paddy field for at least 12 hours after spraying without proper protective gear. Allow the spray to settle fully before walking through the treated field.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Taarak herbicide is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Maintain a 4–7 day gap between Tata Taarak and other ALS inhibitor herbicides to avoid rice stunting. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products.
Apply Taarak herbicide only to Paddy — it will damage non-rice crops if spray drift reaches adjacent fields.
Do not reduce the spray water volume below 150 litres per acre.
Slight temporary yellowing of rice after application is normal and recovers fully within 10–14 days.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Taarak herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Do not allow spray drift onto adjacent non-paddy crops or neighbouring fields.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
Store Tata Taarak in its original sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Store out of reach of children and farm animals.
