Dhanuka Weedmar Super is a selective, systemic, post-emergent herbicide containing 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL. 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL covers both terrestrial and aquatic broadleaf weed control:
Broadleaf Weeds: Chenopodium album (Bathua), Amaranthus spp. (Pigweed), Trianthema monogyna (Horse Purslane), Convolvulus arvensis (Field Bindweed), Fumaria parviflora, Portulaca oleracea, Tribulus terrestris (Gokhru), Digera arvensis, Tridax procumbens
Sedges: Cyperus spp. (Nut Grass, Rice Flatsedge)
Aquatic Weeds: Broadleaf aquatic weeds in irrigation channels and water bodies

Apply Weedmar Super herbicide as a post-emergence spray when most weeds have germinated and are at the 2–3 leaf stage, and when the crop is at the 4–5 leaf stage. Use a flat fan nozzle with a hood to avoid drift onto crop foliage.
The Weedmar Super Dose Per Litre is 2–5 ml per litre of water depending on crop type and weed pressure.

Measure the required dose of 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Add the measured quantity to a small amount of clean water and stir well before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate thoroughly to form a uniform solution.
Apply using a flat fan nozzle fitted with a spray hood to prevent drift onto desirable crop foliage.
Apply as a directed spray at ground level or as a uniform broadcast spray targeting the weed leaf surface — ensuring thorough weed coverage.
Apply when weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage, and the crop is at the 4–5 leaf stage for the most effective and safe weed kill.
Do not spray during windy conditions, foggy weather, or when rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
Wash the sprayer with a Urea solution or clean water after use — residues of 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL in the sprayer tank can damage sensitive crops sprayed afterwards.
Apply 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL in the early morning or late evening. Ensure adequate soil moisture at the time of spraying for best herbicide absorption and translocation through the weed. Apply at the early weed growth stage for the fastest and most complete weed kill.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed post-emergence application at the correct weed and crop growth stage is generally sufficient for season-long broadleaf weed control. A second application may be made if a new flush of weed emergence occurs after the residual period.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after application. Allow the spray to dry and settle fully before re-entry without protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Weedmar Super herbicide is compatible with most herbicides and crop protection products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Do not mix with bare hands — always use measuring tools and protective equipment.
Do not spray Dhanuka Weedmar Super on Dicotyledonous crops (Cotton, Soybean, Sunflower, Pulses) — 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL will severely damage these crops.
Always use a spray hood to prevent drift onto non-target crops in adjacent fields.
Do not spray during the flowering stage of the registered crop.
Wear gloves, goggles, a face mask, and protective clothing before handling or spraying Weedmar Super herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Do not allow spray drift onto neighbouring Dicotyledonous crops — severe crop damage will result.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated areas for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
No specific antidote is known — treat symptomatically and seek medical attention if poisoning is suspected.
