Adama Narkis is a broad-spectrum, selective, systemic, and post-emergence herbicide that works effectively against grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds that affect paddy crops. It works by inhibiting an essential enzyme, which stops weeds from producing essential amino acids, killing them eventually. The Narkis herbicide is especially designed for weeds that harm paddy crops, providing targeted protection. This herbicide is also safe to use as it has strong selective properties.

The Narkis herbicide dose per litre of water is approximately 0.5–0.6 ml per litre — equivalent to 100–120 ml per acre in 150–200 litres of water and 7.5–9 ml per 15L pump.

Drain the paddy field water completely before spraying Narkis herbicide — weeds must be fully exposed above the water level for good spray contact and leaf absorption.
Measure 100–120 ml of Adama Narkis per acre as per the dose table above.
Add the measured quantity to a sprayer tank with 150–200 litres of clean water and mix well — do not reduce the water volume below 150 litres per acre as this reduces field coverage uniformity.

Apply Adama Narkis in the early morning or late evening on actively growing weeds at the 2–5 leaf stage. For transplanted Paddy, the optimum window is 15–25 days after transplanting. For DSR, apply 15–20 days after sowing. Always drain the field before spraying and reflood 48–72 hours after application.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed post-emergence application at the 2–5 weed leaf stage is generally sufficient for season-long weed management in Paddy. A second application may be needed if a new weed flush emerges after the residual period.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated paddy field for at least 12 hours after spraying. Allow the spray to settle fully before re-entry without protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Narkis herbicide is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Maintain a 4–7 day gap between Adama Narkis and other ALS inhibitor herbicides to avoid rice stunting. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products.
