Mix UPL Saaf in clean water and apply as a foliar spray during early morning or late evening for best results.
Application Method | Dose Per Litre | Per 15L Pump | Per Acre | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Foliar Spray (General) | 2 gm per litre | 30 gm | 300–500 gm in 200L water | 7–15 days (crop specific) |

Soil Drench | 2 gm per litre | — | As required | — |
Measure the required dose of Saaf fungicide as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Pre-mix the measured quantity in a small amount of clean water to form a smooth slurry before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and mix well before spraying.
Spray evenly on all plant parts, upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and fruit zones, for complete fungal coverage.
For seed treatment, mix the required quantity with seeds before sowing to protect germinating seedlings from soil-borne and seed-borne pathogens.
For soil drench, dilute at 2 gm per litre and apply directly to the root zone for soil-borne disease management.
Apply during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during midday heat or when rain is expected within 4 hours.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Apply UPL Saaf Fungicide in the early morning or late evening. For best results, start spraying preventively before disease symptoms appear — or at the very first sign of infection, particularly during humid, wet, or cloudy weather when fungal diseases develop fastest.
Frequency of Application: Apply every 10–15 days during periods of high disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season; rotate with a fungicide from a different FRAC group after 2–3 sprays to prevent resistance build-up in the target pathogen population.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: UPL Saaf is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Do not mix with Lime Sulphur or strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying UPL Saaf Fungicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 24 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
