PI Nominee Gold is a selective post-emergence rice herbicide used for controlling mixed weeds after they emerge in the field. Nominee Gold herbicide offers a systemic mode of action that works by inhibiting an essential enzyme, stopping amino acid synthesis, and causing weed death. PI Nominee Gold is useful in rice nursery, transplanted rice, and direct-seeded rice when weeds are at the early leaf stage. Nominee Gold herbicide helps manage grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds, making it highly versatile.
Systemic Control: PI Nominee Gold moves inside treated weeds and helps stop their growth from active growing points.
Post-Emergence Use: This herbicide is applied after weeds emerge, giving farmers need-based control.
Broad Spectrum: PI Nominee Gold helps manage grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds in recommended rice systems.
Safe to Use: The herbicide has selective properties that ensure crop protection while eliminating weeds.
Rainfast Support: Nominee Gold herbicide is absorbed quickly by weeds, helping maintain performance even during light rain.
Rice Nursery: PI Nominee Gold helps control early weed flushes that affect young paddy seedlings.
Transplanted Rice: Nominee Gold herbicide supports weed control after transplanting when weeds start competing with the crop.
Direct-Seeded Rice: PI Nominee Gold helps manage mixed weed growth where direct seeding faces heavy early competition.
Grass Weeds: Nominee Gold herbicide helps reduce Echinochloa crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum, and Ischaemum rugosum.
Sedges and Broadleaf Weeds: PI Nominee Gold supports control of Cyperus, Fimbristylis, Eclipta, Ludwigia, Monochoria, Alternanthera, and related weeds.
Use PI Nominee Gold as a post-emergence foliar spray in rice. Nominee Gold Herbicide Dose Per Litre is around 0.4 to 0.6 ml per litre when using 80 to 120 ml per acre in about 200 litres of water. The label dose is also given as 200 to 250 ml per hectare. Nominee Gold herbicide should not be used on submerged weeds. Nominee Gold herbicide should be sprayed directly on exposed weed foliage.
Crop / Rice System | Target Weeds | Dose per Acre | Application Method | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Rice Nursery | Echinochloa crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum | 80 to 120 ml | Post-emergence foliar spray on exposed weeds | 78 days |
Transplanted Rice | Ischaemum rugosum, Cyperus difformis, Cyperus iria | 80 to 120 ml | Spray with flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle | 78 days |
Direct-Seeded Rice | Fimbristylis, Eclipta, Ludwigia, Monochoria | 80 to 120 ml | Uniform spray on young weeds | 78 days |
Paddy Fields | Mixed grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds | 80 to 120 ml | Need-based spray at 2 to 5 leaf weed stage | 78 days |
Shake the bottle well before measuring the dose.
Measure the required Nominee Gold herbicide quantity as per field area and weed stage.
Drain standing water or keep weeds exposed before spraying.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Mix the measured PI Nominee Gold in a small amount of water first.
Add the prepared Nominee Gold herbicide solution into the main spray tank.
Add the remaining water and stir the mixture properly.
Use a flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle for even spray coverage.
Spray PI Nominee Gold directly on weed leaves.
Do not apply the herbicide directly on top of crops.
Do not apply Nominee Gold herbicide as a sand mix, fertilizer mix, or shaker-bottle application.
Re-flood the field within 48 to 72 hours after spraying, and maintain water for 5 to 7 days where suitable.
Apply PI Nominee Gold when weeds are young and actively growing, preferably at the 2 to 5 leaf stage. Nominee Gold herbicide performs better when weeds are not submerged, and the spray reaches the full weed surface. Morning or evening spray is better because drift and evaporation are lower. PI Nominee Gold should not be sprayed if rain is expected within 6 hours. Avoid using Nominee Gold herbicide on weak, stressed, waterlogged, or poorly established rice crops.
Frequency of Application: One timely Nominee Gold herbicide spray is generally suitable for early post-emergence weed control in rice. Repeat PI Nominee Gold only if label guidance allows and new weed pressure appears.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated field for at least 24 hours after Nominee Gold herbicide spray without protective gear.
Compatibility: PI Nominee Gold should not be tank-mixed with sulphur or copper-containing pesticides. Avoid unknown tank mixes without a jar test, because Nominee Gold herbicide performs best with clean and simple spray preparation.
Application Care: Nominee Gold herbicide gives better results when weeds are exposed above water and receive uniform spray coverage.
Resistance Care: Rotate PI Nominee Gold with other weed-management practices and avoid depending only on the same herbicide group every season.
Read the label carefully before using PI Nominee Gold.
Wear gloves, mask, goggles, long sleeves, and protective footwear while handling Nominee Gold herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything during mixing or spraying.
