EBS Bacillus Thuringiensis Bio Larvicide is a biological insecticide containing Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki (Btk) — a naturally occurring soil-dwelling bacterium used as a targeted bio-pesticide against caterpillar pests. Once ingested by larvae, it produces protein crystals that block and destroy the digestive system of the caterpillar — the infected larva stops feeding within hours and dies within days. Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide is effective against all lepidopteran caterpillars and is completely safe for beneficial insects, honeybees, natural predators, humans, and the environment. EBS BT Bio Larvicide is suitable for Brinjal, Tomato, Chilli, Lady's Finger, and other vegetables — approved for organic farming and IPM programs.
Stops Feeding Immediately: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide-infected larvae stop feeding within hours of ingesting treated plant tissue, protecting crops from further damage before the pest dies.
Targets Only Caterpillars: EBS Bt Bio Larvicide is toxic only to lepidopteran caterpillars — it does not harm beneficial insects, honeybees, natural predators, or pollinators.
Resistance Prevention: The unique biological mode of action prevents caterpillar populations from developing resistance — effective even on pest populations that resist conventional insecticides.
Organic and IPM Approved: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide is made from naturally occurring soil bacteria — fully approved for organic farming, IPM programs, and home garden use.
Zero Residue: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide breaks down naturally in the environment without leaving harmful residues on crops — safe for use close to harvest on all crops.
Safe for Humans and Animals: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide is non-toxic to humans, farm workers, livestock, birds, and aquatic organisms — one of the safest crop protection options available.
Wide Crop Coverage: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide is effective on Brinjal, Tomato, Chilli, Lady's Finger, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cotton, Pulses, Paddy, Maize, Groundnut, Soybean, and home garden plants.
Bollworms: Cotton Bollworms, American Bollworm, Pink Bollworm
Caterpillars: Helicoverpa, Spodoptera, Cutworms, Loopers, Semilooper, Leaf Webber
Borers: Brinjal Fruit Borer, Stem Borer, Pod Borer
Other Pests: Diamondback Moth, Leaf Folder, Leaf Eating Caterpillar
Mix the Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide in clean water before spraying. Apply at the early larval stage or at the first sign of caterpillar attack for the fastest and most complete control.

Note: Never exceed the recommended dose.
Measure the required quantity of EBS Bt Bio Larvicide using a clean measuring cup.
Fill the sprayer tank to about one-third capacity with clean water before adding the product.
Add the measured dose and fill with the remaining clean water while stirring gently until uniform.
Apply evenly and thoroughly across all plant surfaces — cover upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and fruit surfaces where caterpillars feed.
Apply in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are above 18°C for the best bacterial activity on leaf surfaces.
Direct the nozzle into the plant canopy, growing tips, and stem bases where caterpillars first appear and concentrate.
Rinse the sprayer completely with clean water after every use.
Best Time to Apply
Apply Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide in the evening when temperatures are above 18°C — Bt bacteria are most active at temperatures above 18°C, and application during cooler evening hours gives the best larval infection rate and pest control results.
Frequency of Application: Apply Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide at the first sign of caterpillar attack or at the early larval stage. Repeat every 7 to 10 days during active larval pressure. Being a biological product, it can be applied more frequently than chemical insecticides without risk of crop damage or resistance.
Re-Entry Period: Safe to re-enter treated areas as soon as the spray has completely dried on plant surfaces.
Compatibility: Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide is compatible with most biopesticides and organic inputs. Do not mix with chemical fungicides or insecticides in the same tank, as these can reduce bacterial viability. Always do a jar test before combining with any other product.
Wear gloves and goggles before handling or measuring this product.
Never eat, drink, or smoke while mixing or applying.
Wash all exposed skin and hands with soap and water after finishing.
Keep children, pets, and farm animals away from treated areas until the spray has dried.
Store away from all food items, animal feed, and drinking water sources.
Dispose of empty containers as per local waste disposal guidelines.
Store Bacillus Thuringiensis pesticide in the original sealed container in a cool, dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight and heat.
Never store near food, animal feed, seeds, or drinking water.
Keep completely out of reach of children and farm animals.
Storage Temperature: Below 35°C — do not freeze
