Chemical Composition:
Carbofuran tech (based on 75% w/w a.i.) 4.000% w/w, Calcium Silicate 5.000% w/w, Blank Granules (Bentonite) 100% w/w, Total 100.000 % w/w.
Recommendation:
• It is recommended to control shoot fly of Bajra, brown plant hopper, gall midge, green leaf hopper, hispa, stem borr & nematode of paddy, pod borer and white grub of groundnut; and top borer of sugarcane and insects of other crops.
Antidote:
• Atropinize the patient immediately and maintain full atropinization by repeated shoes of 2- 4 mg of atropine sulphate intravenously at 5 to 10 minutes intervals.
• As much as 25 to 50 mg of atropine may be required in a day.
• The need for further atropine administration is guided by the continuance of symptoms. The extent of salivation is a useful criterion for dose adjustment.
• 2 PAM is of not much value and should be avoided.
• Artificial respiration may be given if needed.
