FMC Coragen is a broad-spectrum insecticide that eliminates pests like stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge, and others. Coragen insecticide offers a dual mode of action with systemic and contact modes of action, as it works by acting as a ryanodine receptor, causing uncontrolled muscle contraction, immediate feeding cessation, paralysis, and death. The Coragen insecticide is broad-spectrum and offers long-lasting protection, making it highly cost-effective while having a low chemical impact on the environment.
Key Features and Benefits of Coragen Insecticide:
Highly Effective: The Coragen insecticide has no cross-resistance to any conventional insecticide, providing effective protection.
Quick Action: This FMC insecticide stops pests feeding almost immediately, providing healthier crops for better yields.
Strong Systemic Action: Coragen insecticide offers a strong systemic mode of action with translaminar activity, covering the complete crop.
Long-Lasting: A single use of Coragen insecticide provides prolonged mode of action, reducing the need for frequent application.
Rainfast Application: Coragen insecticide cannot be washed away by the rain easily after a certain time of application.
Broad-Spectrum Application: This insecticide provides broad-spectrum protection against pests like Stem Borers, Leaf Folders, and many others.

How To Use FMC Coragen Insecticide:
Measure the required dose of Coragen Insecticide as per the crop-wise table above.
Pre-mix in a small amount of clean water and stir well before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and mix thoroughly before spraying.
Use a hollow cone or fine-spray nozzle — ensure the spray reaches deep into the crop canopy, stem bases, and fruit zones where borers are most active.
Apply at the first sign of pest activity or egg hatching for the best early-stage knockdown.
Maintain spray water pH between 6.0 and 7.0 for optimal stability and efficacy of Coragen Insecticide.
Spray during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during peak honeybee foraging hours.
Rinse all sprayer equipment thoroughly with clean water after use.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Coragen Insecticide in the early morning or late evening. For Paddy borers, spray at the active tillering stage. For Cotton bollworms, spray at the first sign of egg hatching or early larval feeding. Early intervention gives the fastest knockdown and the longest residual protection per application.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. Repeat after 21 days if pest pressure continues. Do not exceed 2–3 applications per season — rotate with an insecticide from a different IRAC group after 2 applications to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Coragen Insecticide is compatible with most fungicides, including Propiconazole. Maintain spray water pH between 6.0 and 7.0. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products.
Note: Do not use near mulberry farms — Chlorantraniliprole is highly toxic to silkworms.
Safety Precautions and Handling:
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Coragen Insecticide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Do not spray near mulberry farms or silkworm rearing areas — toxic to silkworms.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin with soap and water thoroughly after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
