Pump dose: Use 15 to 18 ml per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar application.
Shake the Cypermethrin 25% EC insecticide bottle well before opening to mix the active ingredient evenly.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Measure the right quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use 150 to 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
The best time to use Exylon Cypher Insecticide is at the very first appearance of pest activity — when small caterpillars start feeding on leaves, sucking pests colonise the young shoots, or when fresh damage marks appear on fruits and pods. Cypermethrin 25% EC insecticide works fastest in mild, cool conditions — so late afternoon or early evening sprays give the best results. Avoid spraying during peak afternoon heat (above 35°C) as pyrethroid performance may drop in very high temperatures.
Frequency: 2 to 3 sprays per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, depending on pest pressure and crop stage.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Cypher mixes well with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or high-pH copper sprays, and always run a small jar test 24 hours before a new tank-mix combination.
