Mode Of Action: - Pseudomonas Fluorescens Utilizes Seed And Root Exudates To Multiply In The Rhizosphere Of The Soils. It Also Produces Siderophore Which Chelates With Iron In The Soil And Makes It Difficult For The Pathogens To Proliferate. It Secretes Several Plant Growth Substances, And These Gibberellins-Like Compounds Contribute To Vigorous Growth And Inhibit The Growth Of Disease-Causing Pathogens. It Induces Systemic Resistance In The Host Plant And Also Produces Secondary Metabolite 2,4 – Diacetyl Phloroglucinol (2,4-Dapg) Which Is Responsible For Anti-Pathogenic And Biocontrol Properties.
