Pump dose: Use 18 to 22 ml per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar application.
Shake the Novamax bottle well before opening to mix the active ingredients evenly.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Measure the right quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use 150 to 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
The best time to use Exylon Novamax Insecticide is at the early stage of caterpillar activity — when small worms first appear on shoots, flowers, or fruits, or when adult moths are seen actively laying eggs in the field. Because Novaluron 5.25% + Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% SC has ovi-larvicidal action, spraying just before or right after peak egg-laying gives the strongest results. Late afternoon or early evening hours are the best window, as caterpillars are most active and pick up more product as they move and feed on treated leaves.
Frequency: 1 to 2 sprays per crop cycle at 15- to 20-day intervals — the long residual action means fewer sprays compared to older caterpillar-only products.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Novamax mixes well with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or high-pH copper sprays, and always run a small jar test 24 hours before a new tank-mix combination.
Wear hand gloves, face mask, and protective eyewear while handling the product.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and drinking water sources.
Store in the original container with the cap tightly closed.
Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
Storage Temperature: Below 30°C
