Krishigiri Herbiwin is a non-selective systemic herbicide containing Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG — a highly concentrated water-soluble granule formulation that dissolves quickly and works faster after a few hours of application. Once applied to actively growing weeds, it gets absorbed through the leaves and travels all the way down to the roots and rhizomes, killing the weed completely from within. Glyphosate 71% SG works on both annual and perennial weeds, including the toughest and most difficult-to-kill varieties that other herbicides cannot control. With no soil residual activity, Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG breaks down naturally after application and does not affect the next crop.
Systemic Action: Absorbed through the leaves and translocated all the way to the roots and rhizomes, killing the entire weed plant, preventing regrowth.
Post-Emergence Control: Works on actively growing weeds, making it flexible to use for farmers.
Highly Concentrated Formula: Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG is more concentrated than standard 41% SL, requires lower quantities per acre, and dissolves cleanly in water.
No Soil Residual: Breaks down naturally in soil after application and does not leave harmful residues, safe for the next crop to be sown or planted.
Broad Spectrum: Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG is effective against all types of weeds — grassy weeds, broadleaf weeds, sedges, perennial weeds, and woody shrubs.
Wide Usage: Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG is suitable for Tea plantations, non-crop areas, bunds, roadsides, water channels, open fields, and plantation crop inter-rows.
Grassy Weeds: Cynodon dactylon (Doob grass), Imperata cylindrica (Kans grass), Digitaria sanguinalis, Paspalum conjugatum, Eragrostis spp.
Broadleaf Weeds: Acalypha indica, Sida acuta, Ipomoea digitata, Cichorium intybus, Digera arvensis, Ageratum conyzoides
Sedges & Other Weeds: Cyperus rotundus (Nutgrass), annual and perennial sedges, woody shrubs
Dissolve Krishigiri Herbiwin in 200 litres of water per acre. Apply Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG directly to actively growing weeds for best results.
Crop | Target Weeds | Dose/Acre | Per 15L Pump |
|---|---|---|---|
Tea plantation | Grassy weeds, Broadleaf weeds, Sedges | 1000 to 1200 gm | 100 g |
Non-crop areas | All annual and perennial weeds | 1000 to 1200 gm | 100 gm |
Note: Herbiwin is a non-selective herbicide — it will kill any green plant it contacts. Never spray on or near the main crop.
Measure the required quantity of Herbiwin as per the dosage table.
Dissolve the granules in a small amount of water first and stir well.
Pour into the sprayer and fill with the remaining clean water.
Use a flat fan or hood nozzle to prevent drift onto the main crop.
Spray directly and evenly on weed foliage at ground level.
Do not spray during windy or rainy conditions.
Rinse the sprayer with clean water after use.
Spray in the early morning or late evening when the weather is calm, and the wind speed is low, which prevents spray drift onto nearby crops and improves absorption by the weeds.
Frequency of Application: Apply once when weeds are actively growing. Repeat only if weed regrowth is observed after 3–4 weeks.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter sprayed areas for at least 24 hours after application.
Visible Effect: Yellowing and wilting start within 2–4 days for annual weeds. Perennial and hard-to-kill weeds may take 7–10 days or more to show visible effects.
Tank-mix Compatibility: Can be mixed with selective herbicides for broader weed control. Always do a jar test before mixing. Do not mix with bare hands.
Wear protective clothing, including gloves, goggles, and a mask, before handling.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.
Wash all exposed skin with soap and water after use.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated areas for 24 hours.
Use a hood nozzle and keep the spray away from standing crops and water bodies.
Rinse empty containers three times, puncture, and dispose of them as per local waste guidelines.

Controls all types of annual and perennial weeds in Tea plantations and non-crop areas like bunds, roadsides, and open fields.
Dissolve the required dose in a small amount of water first, pour into the sprayer, fill with remaining water, and spray evenly on actively growing weeds using a flat fan or hood nozzle. Never spray near or on the main crop.
Mix 250–300 g of Krishigiri Herbiwin per 100 litres of water for general weed control. Adjust the dose based on weed density and the area being treated.
Yellowing and wilting start within 2–4 days for annual weeds. Perennial and tough weeds may take 7–10 days to show visible effects and 2–3 weeks for complete kill.
Early morning or late evening when the weather is calm, and wind speed is low — this ensures better weed coverage and prevents drift onto nearby crops.
