Technical Name: Cartap Hydrochloride 50% SP

Elect SP is an insecticide belonging to the Nereistoxin analogue group. It is highly effective in controlling stem borer and leaf folder insects in paddy crops. Elect SP operates through contact, systemic, and translaminar action, ensuring thorough protection by targeting all life stages of insects, including eggs, larvae, and adults. It helps break insect resistance, making it an excellent tool for resistance management (IRM). Moreover, it is safe for beneficial insects and compatible with commonly used insecticides and fungicides, making it ideal for Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Mode of Action:

JU Elect SP insecticide works through contact, systemic, and translaminar action. It effectively disrupts the nervous system of insects, leading to paralysis and death.
