Product Description:

Dr. Bacto’s VBM has consortia of fungi like Verticillium lecanii, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae which are entomopathogenic fungi. These are natural mortality agents and environmentally safe used for biological control of insects and other arthropod pests.

CFU/gm (Minimum) - 3 × 10^9 CFU/gm

Mode of Action: The general model of infection comprises six stages in the following order: adhesion, germination, appressorium formation, penetration, colonization of hemolymph, extrusion with sporulation which can also be found in other entomopathogenic fungi. In this way, any entomopathogenic fungi infect the host and kill it.

Dosage:

Soil Application – 1-1.5 Kg per hectare;

Foliar application – 1 gm per liter of water
