Katyayani Triple Attack Bio-Insecticide is a broad-spectrum entomopathogenic bio-pesticide by Katyayani Organics, formulated as a wettable powder containing three naturally occurring fungi, Verticillium Lecanii, Beauveria Bassiana, and Metarhizium Anisopliae, each at a minimum CFU count of 1×10⸠per gram. The Triple Attack insecticide works by attaching microscopic fungal spores to the outer cuticle of target insects, germinating under suitable temperature and humidity conditions, penetrating the insect's body wall, colonising its internal systems, and ultimately killing it from within. After the insect dies, the fungi sporulate and release fresh spores — creating a natural self-propagating effect that continues to suppress pest populations without any additional applications. Katyayani Triple Attack insecticide is residue-free, safe for pollinators, compatible with IPM programmes, and approved for use in certified organic farming systems.
Triple Fungal Action: Each organism in the Triple Attack insecticide targets pests at different life stages and on different plant zones, providing complete crop protection from a single product.
Self-Propagating Effect: After killing the target pest, the fungi sporulate inside the cadaver and release new spores into the surrounding area, continuously suppressing pest populations without repeat applications.
No Residue: The biological mode of action of Katyayani Triple Attack insecticide does not create resistance in pest populations, does not cause resurgence, and leaves no toxic residues in the crop or soil.
Broad Pest Spectrum: Controls sucking pests, chewing insects, boring pests, and soil-dwelling insects, making it one of the widest pest coverage profiles available in a single bio-insecticide.
High Compatibility: Katyayani Triple Attack is compatible with most commonly used fertilizers and crop protection products. No more than two chemicals should be mixed with it in a single spray session.
Katyayani Triple Attack insecticide covers one of the widest pest spectrums among all bio-insecticides available in India:
Sucking Pests: Aphids, Thrips, Whiteflies, Jassids, Mealybugs, Scales, Leaf Hoppers, Plant Hoppers, Brown Plant Hoppers, Bugs, Spittlebugs
Chewing and Defoliating Pests: Beetles, Caterpillars, Heliothis, Semi Looper, Colorado Potato Beetle, Leaf Feeding Insects
Boring Pests: Stem Borer, Fruit Borer, Shoot Borer, Codling Moth
Soil Pests: Root Weevils, Root Grubs, White Grubs, Termites, Japanese Beetle, Black Vine Weevil, Cutworms
Apply the Triple Attack insecticide during evening hours or early morning to protect spore viability from UV exposure. Maintain adequate field moisture after soil application.
Application Method | Dose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Foliar Spray | 5–10 gm per litre of water | Spray during evening or early morning; target upper and lower leaf surfaces |
Soil Application / Drip Irrigation | 2 kg per acre in sufficient water | Mix with FYM for the best soil colonisation results |
Seed Treatment | 10 gm per kg of seeds | Coat uniformly with jaggery solution; shade-dry before sowing |
Measure the required dose of Katyayani Triple Attack as per the application method above.
For foliar spray, dissolve 5–10 gm per litre in clean water, agitate well, and load into the sprayer.
Spray evenly on all above-ground plant parts — upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and fruit zones — targeting areas with visible pest activity.
For soil application, mix 2 kg per acre in sufficient water and drench the root zone, or mix with 25–50 kg FYM and broadcast before irrigation.
For seed treatment, mix the measured dose with a mild jaggery solution to form a slurry, coat seeds uniformly, and shade-dry before sowing.
Apply only during evening (after 5 PM) or early morning (before 8 AM) — direct UV exposure degrades fungal spores significantly.
Do not mix with chemical fungicides, bactericides, or strong chemical pesticides in the same tank.
Rinse the sprayer with clean water after every use.
Apply Katyayani Triple Attack during evening or early morning under cool, humid conditions — temperatures between 20–28°C and humidity above 60% give the fastest and most effective pest knockdown from all three fungal organisms.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest activity. Repeat every 10–15 days for sustained pest suppression. Two to three applications per season are sufficient for most crops under normal pest pressure.
Re-Entry Period: The Triple Attack insecticide is non-toxic to humans. No strict re-entry restriction applies. Allow foliar spray to dry before re-entering the treated field.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Compatible with most commonly used fertilizers and crop protection inputs. Do not mix with chemical fungicides or bactericides. No more than two chemicals in a single tank mix. Perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products.
Wear gloves and a face mask when measuring and mixing Katyayani Triple Attack.
Do not mix with chemical fungicides, bactericides, or strong chemical pesticides — this destroys the live fungal spores.
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat during handling and storage.
Keep out of reach of children and farm animals at all times.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Dispose of empty containers as per local agricultural waste guidelines.
Store Katyayani Triple Attack in its original sealed packaging in a cool, dry, shaded location away from direct sunlight.
Do not store near chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or heat sources.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Storage Temperature: Below 25°C (refrigeration recommended for extended shelf life).

Katyayani Triple Attack insecticide combines three entomopathogenic fungi that target pests at different body zones and life stages — Verticillium Lecanii on soft-bodied sucking pests, Beauveria Bassiana on chewing insects, and Metarhizium Anisopliae on soil and boring pests. A single-fungus product covers only part of this spectrum. The Triple Attack insecticide delivers complete above-ground and below-ground pest control from one product.
After the fungal spores infect and kill the target insect, the fungus sporulates inside the dead insect's body and releases a new generation of spores into the surrounding air and soil. These fresh spores then attach to and infect nearby pests — creating a continuous, self-reinforcing cycle of pest suppression that extends well beyond the initial application.
All three fungi in Katyayani Triple Attack are sensitive to UV radiation — direct midday sunlight rapidly degrades spore viability on the leaf surface. Evening or early morning application allows the spores to attach and begin germinating before the next day's UV exposure, ensuring maximum pest contact and infection rate.
Katyayani Triple Attack insecticide should not be mixed with chemical fungicides or bactericides, as these destroy live spores. It is compatible with most fertilizers and non-fungicidal crop protection inputs. As a general guideline, no more than two other chemicals should be added to the same spray tank when using the Triple Attack insecticide.
Pest mortality typically begins within 5–10 days of application, depending on temperature, humidity, and pest species. The visible fungal bloom (white or yellowish mould) on dead insects is the clearest field indicator that the fungi are actively working. Conditions of 20–28°C temperature and above 60% humidity give the fastest and most consistent results.
