Sumitomo Haru fungicide is a broad-spectrum, multi-action fungicide that offers both systemic and contact modes of action. It works by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis and the respiration process and enzyme activity, stopping further growth and spread. This fungicide is effective against leaf spot, pod blight, and other fungal diseases. It offers triple action with high resistance management, making it a strong fungal disease controller.
Triple Action: Sumitomo Haru fungicide protects the crops through systemic, contact, and vapour action for effective protection.
Dual Application: The Haru fungicide can be applied as a preventive and curative measure, making it highly versatile.
Quick Absorption: Sumitomo Haru fungicide is absorbed quickly into the crops within just 2 hours of application, providing better results.
Dual Purpose: This fungicide can also be used to control certain mites while controlling fungal diseases in a single application.
Resistance Management: Sumitomo Haru fungicide combines two different modes of action, providing high resistance management.
This fungicide targets key fungal diseases in both registered crops:
Chilli: Powdery Mildew (Leveillula taurica), Fruit Rot (Colletotrichum capsici, Phytophthora capsici)
Soybean: Leaf Spot (Cercospora sojina, Septoria glycines), Pod Blight (Colletotrichum truncatum)
Mites: Spider mites — Chilli and Soybean (miticide action)
Registered Crops: Chilli and Soybean
The Haru Fungicide Dose Per Litre is 2.5 gm per litre of water — equivalent to 35 gm per 15L pump and 500 gm per acre in 200 litres of water for both registered crops.
Crop | Target Disease | Dose Per Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Chilli | Powdery Mildew, Fruit Rot | 500 gm | 35 gm | 7 days |
Soybean | Leaf Spot, Pod Blight | 500 gm | 35 gm | 20 days |
Measure the required dose of this fungicide as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Pre-mix the measured granules in a small amount of clean water and stir until fully dissolved.
Add to the sprayer tank half-filled with water and fill with the remaining clean water — mix well before spraying.
Spray evenly on all plant surfaces — upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and fruit zones — for complete coverage.
Apply preventively when humid weather conditions favour disease development, or at the very first sign of Powdery Mildew whitening or Leaf Spot lesions.
Apply during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during midday heat or when rain is expected within 2 hours.
Do not apply during flowering hours when bees are actively foraging — Sulphur-based products can affect pollinators.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Apply Sumitomo Haru fungicide in the early morning or late evening. For Chilli, begin preventive sprays from the pre-flowering stage when humidity is high. For Soybean, apply from the vegetative stage at the first appearance of Leaf Spot lesions during wet and warm weather.
Frequency of Application: Apply every 12–15 days during active disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season — rotate this fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive sprays to prevent resistance build-up.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Sumitomo Haru fungicide is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying this fungicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Avoid inhaling the spray mist — Sulphur-based products can irritate the respiratory tract.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 24 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
Store this fungicide in its original sealed packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Keep tightly sealed after use to prevent moisture absorption.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Store out of reach of children and farm animals.
Storage Temperature: Below 35°C.
Shelf Life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.
