Exylon Fipro Guard is a highly effective systemic insecticide containing Fipronil 5% SC, used for pest management on crops such as cotton, tea, and sugarcane. Fipronil 5% SC targets the insects' central nervous system and kills a wide range of pests, including aphids and termites.
Fipro Guard insecticide provides long-lasting protection for crops through systemic action, reducing overall product use. Fipronil 5% SC insecticide has low phytotoxicity, ensuring safe application on the crops.
Dual-action: Exylon Fiproguard insecticide kills pests effectively through systemic and contact modes of action, ensuring healthy crop growth.
Flexible Application: Fipronil 5% SC insecticide can be applied as a preventive or curative treatment, making it adaptable for farmers.
IPM Suitability: Exylon Fipro Guard insecticide does not attack beneficial organisms and supports Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
Reaches Hidden Pests: Exylon Fipro Guard insecticide covers all parts of the crops and targets hidden pests under the leaves.
Exylon Fipro Guard Insecticide is effective against a wide range of pests across:
Rice (Paddy) — Stem Borer, Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), Gall Midge, Green Leaf Hopper, Leaf Folder

Pump dose: Use 30 ml per 15-litre knapsack pump for foliar application.
Shake the Fipronil 5% SC bottle well before opening to mix the active ingredient evenly.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Measure the right quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for even coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
For soil pests (termites, grubs), use a coarse nozzle and drench the base of the plants or the root zone.
The best time to use Exylon Fipro Guard Insecticide is at the early stage of pest activity — when stem borer damage first appears on paddy, when plant hoppers are settling under the leaves, or when termite activity is spotted in sugarcane and groundnut fields. Early action is more effective than waiting for pest numbers to build up. For foliar sprays, choose late afternoon or early evening for better leaf retention. For soil-applied sprays, moist soil conditions give better absorption and root-zone reach.
Frequency: 1 to 2 sprays per crop cycle at 15 to 25-day intervals, depending on pest pressure and crop stage.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Fipro Guard mixes well with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or high-pH copper sprays, and always run a small jar test 24 hours before a new tank-mix combination.
Wear hand gloves, face mask, and protective eyewear while handling the product.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
Store Fipronil 5% SC in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
