Katyayani BT Bio Larvicide is a liquid bio-insecticide containing Bacillus Thuringiensis, targeting a wide range of larval pests. It disrupts the digestive system of insect larvae, causing them to stop feeding and ultimately die.

Target Pests:

• Tobacco Caterpillar, Corn Borer, Stem Borer, Fruit Borer, Pod Borer, Shoot Borer, Rice Leaf Roller, Cotton Bollworm, Tea Caterpillar, Various Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera and Coleoptera pests

Target Crops:

• Cotton, Paddy, Cabbage, Chickpea, Okra, Tomato, Cauliflower, Chilli, Gram, Pigeon Pea, Soybean, Tobacco, Castor, Teak and Red Gram

Mode of Action:

• Spore Ingestion: Ingested by larvae.

• Spore Activation: Protein crystals are released in the gut.

• Protoxin Activation: Proteins are activated into toxins.

• Binding & Pore Formation: Toxins bind to gut cells, causing pore formation.

• Cell Lysis: Cell membranes burst, leading to death.

Application & Dosage:

• Gardening: 5-10 ml/liter of water

• Agriculture: 1-2 liters/acre

Precautions:

• Apply 2-3 days before chemical pesticides.

• Use above 18°C, ideally in the evening.

• Reapply every 10-15 days for ongoing control.
