Gharda Ecoguard is a high-performance termiticide and insecticide containing Chlorpyrifos 50% EC. It is specially formulated for pre- and post-construction termite treatment in buildings, termite control in trees, and for managing chewing and boring insects in various crops. With quick knockdown and lasting residual action, it ensures long-term protection of structures, furniture, and plants from destructive pests like termites, stem borers, bollworms, and leaf folders.

Mode of Action:

Ecoguard acts through contact and stomach action. It affects the nervous system of pests by inhibiting cholinesterase activity, leading to paralysis and death of termites and other insects.

Dosage:

Pre-Construction Building Treatment:

• Stage 1: Treat bottom surface and sides (up to 30 cm height) of column pits, wall trenches, and basements using 5 ml Ecoguard per 1 liter water.

• Stage 2: Treat refill earth on both sides of built walls (30 cm width, 45 cm depth) and vertical surfaces of the foundation.

Post-Construction Building Treatment:

• Spray thoroughly inside and outside affected areas including walls, doors, wooden cupboards, cracks, and visible termite tunnels.

• Spray infected furniture to eliminate wood-boring pests.

Tree Termite Control:

• Dig 10 inches deep and 2 feet wide ring around the tree.

• Pour 2 buckets (40 L) normal water, wait 1 hour.

• Mix 200 ml Ecoguard in 20 L water.

• Pour 19 L around tree base; apply remaining 1 L on tree stem up to 4 feet height with brush.

Crop Pest Control:

• Use 5 ml per 1 liter water to spray on crops for control of bollworms, stem borers, leaf folders, etc.
