Carbine 50 is a broad-spectrum insecticide that offers contact, stomach, and vapour action. It works by targeting the pest’s nervous system as it acts as an inhibitor and causes continuous nerve impulses leading to paralysis and death of the pests. Carbine insecticide is effective against Aphids, Thrips, Stem Borers, and others, making it very versatile and effective.
Triple Action: Carbine 50 offers contact, stomach, and vapour modes of action for effective pest control.
Strong Formula: Carbine insecticide offers a more effective formula as it is more concentrated, providing better results.
Prolonged Effects: This insecticide offers long-lasting protection due to its strong residual activity.
Broad-Spectrum: Carbine insecticide is effective against a wide range of pests like Bollworms, Sucking Pests, Root Grubs, White Grubs, and more.
Effective Soil Application: Carbine insecticide works most effectively when used as a soil drench for the best results.
High Compatibility: Carbine 50 is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, improving efficacy when mixed.
Carbine 50 covers both agricultural crop pests and structural termite control:
Bollworms: American Bollworm, Pink Bollworm, Spotted Bollworm (Cotton)
Borers: Stem Borer (Paddy, Sugarcane), Shoot Borer, Fruit Borer
Sucking Pests: Aphids, Jassids, Thrips, Leaf Hoppers
Soil Pests: Termites, White Grubs, Root Grubs, Cutworms
Structural Use: Pre-construction and post-construction anti-termite soil treatment in buildings
Mix Carbine insecticide in 200 litres of water per acre for foliar spray. Apply at the first sign of pest activity or when pest populations reach the Economic Threshold Level.
The Carbine insecticide dose per litre is 1.5–2 ml per litre of water for most foliar applications.
Crop / Use | Target Pest | Dose Per Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Cotton | Bollworm, Sucking Pests | 300–400 ml | 22.5–30 ml | 15 days |
Paddy / Rice | Stem Borer, Leaf Hopper | 300–400 ml | 22.5–30 ml | 15 days |
Sugarcane | Stem Borer, Termites | 400–500 ml | 30–37.5 ml | 30 days |
Vegetables (General) | Aphids, Thrips, Stem Borer | 200–300 ml | 15–22.5 ml | 7 days |
Soil Application (Crops) | Termites, White Grubs, Root Grubs | 1–1.5 litres per acre in 200L water | — | — |
Pre-Construction (Buildings) | Termites | 1 litre in 19 litres water — apply 5L per sq. metre | — | N/A |
Post-Construction (Buildings) | Termites | 1 litre in 19 litres water — inject through drill holes | — | N/A |
Measure the required dose of Carbine 50 as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Add the measured quantity to a sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix well before topping up.
Fill with the remaining clean water and agitate thoroughly before spraying.
For foliar spray, use a flat fan or hollow cone nozzle — ensure spray covers both upper and lower leaf surfaces and the base of stems where borers are active.
For soil drench against termites and white grubs, dilute the required dose in 200 litres of water per acre and apply directly and uniformly to the root zone.
For building pre-construction treatment, dilute 1 litre of Carbine insecticide in 19 litres of water and apply 5 litres of the diluted solution per square metre of soil surface per IS 6313 Part II.
For post-construction termite treatment, inject the same diluted solution through drilled holes around the building perimeter per IS 6313 Part III.
Spray during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying near water bodies, during bee foraging hours, or when rain is expected within 4 hours.
Apply Carbine insecticide in the early morning or late evening. For Paddy borers, apply during nursery or early tillering stages. For Cotton bollworms, apply at the first sign of feeding damage or egg hatching. For soil pests, apply before sowing or incorporate into the soil at land preparation.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. Repeat every 10–15 days if pest pressure continues. Do not exceed 2–3 foliar applications per season — rotate with an insecticide from a different IRAC group after 2 applications to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Carbine insecticide is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Do not mix with alkaline products including Bordeaux mixture or Lime Sulphur. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Note: Carbine insecticide is banned for use on Citrus and Ber crops in India. Do not use in Kerala State. Always check the current registration status before use.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a full face mask before handling or spraying Carbine insecticide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Highly toxic to bees, birds, and aquatic organisms — do not spray near beehives, water bodies, ponds, or rivers.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated areas for at least 48 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local chemical waste disposal guidelines.
Store Carbine insecticide in its original sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Store out of reach of children and farm animals at all times.
