Measure the required dose of UPL Sweep Power as per the weed type and dose table above.
Add the measured quantity to the sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix well before topping up.
Fill with the remaining clean water and agitate to form a uniform spray solution.
Use a flat fan nozzle with a spray hood for directed inter-row application — always shield the spray from desirable crop foliage.
Direct the spray onto the weed foliage at ground level — Sweep Power herbicide is a contact product, so thorough weed leaf coverage is essential for complete kill.
Apply when weeds are actively growing at the 3–5 leaf stage — young actively growing weeds absorb Glufosinate Ammonium most efficiently.
Do not spray during strong winds, foggy weather, or when rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
Rinse all sprayer equipment thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Apply UPL Sweep Power in the early morning or late evening when weeds are actively growing, and temperatures are moderate. Avoid application during the hottest part of the day — heat reduces absorption efficiency. Apply preventively before weed canopy closes for best inter-row access and coverage.
Frequency of Application: Apply as needed for each flush of weed emergence. One well-timed application at the 3–5 leaf weed stage is generally sufficient per flush. For persistent perennial weeds, a second application may be needed after the first flush of regrowth.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated areas for at least 12 hours after application. Glufosinate Ammonium has low mammalian toxicity but always allow the spray to dry fully before field re-entry.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Sweep Power herbicide can be tank-mixed with compatible herbicides for broader-spectrum control. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline solutions.
UPL Sweep Power is non-selective — it will kill any green plant tissue it contacts. Always use a spray hood or shield in crop fields to prevent drift onto crop foliage.
Do not apply to waterlogged or drought-stressed weeds — actively growing weeds absorb Sweep Power herbicide most effectively.

Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.

Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated areas for at least 12 hours.
