Tata Taqat is a strong fungicide containing Captan 70% + Hexaconazole 5% WP, which offers a dual mode of action with systemic and contact action. It works by creating a protective barrier on the surface and killing fungal spores before germination, and interfering with the biosynthesis of ergosterol, halting fungal growth, membrane function, and cell division. The Taqat fungicide is effective against a broad range of fungal diseases and can be applied during different stages of the diseases, making it highly versatile.

The Taqat Fungicide Dosage is 2 gm per litre of water — equivalent to 300 gm per acre in 150 litres of water and 22–30 gm per 15L pump, consistent across all registered crops.

Measure 300 gm of Tata Taqat per acre — equal to 2 gm per litre of water.
Pre-mix the measured powder in a small amount of clean water to form a smooth slurry before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate continuously to maintain a uniform suspension — Captan 70% + Hexaconazole 5% WP requires continuous agitation for uniform coverage.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and fruit zones for complete protective and curative coverage.
Apply preventively before disease symptoms appear during humid, overcast, or warm-wet conditions that favour Powdery Mildew, Blight, and Rust development.
Apply during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during midday heat or when rain is expected within 3–4 hours.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Apply Tata Taqat in the early morning or late evening. For Chilli Anthracnose and Fruit Rot, begin preventive sprays from the flowering stage when humidity is high. For Potato Early and Late Blight, apply from the vegetative stage before the monsoon season to build a consistent protective barrier.
Frequency of Application: Apply every 10–14 days during active disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season — rotate Taqat fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive sprays to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Tata Taqat is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products or Lime Sulphur. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
