Tata Manik Insecticide How to Use:
Open the pack carefully and measure the required quantity using a clean spoon or weighing cup.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
Slowly add the measured formulation into the tank while stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly to form a uniform spray solution.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use 150 to 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
Best Time to Apply:
Spray insecticide at the first sign of sucking-pest activity — when small colonies of aphids, jassids, or whitefly are just building up on new shoots. Late afternoon or early evening is the best window, as leaf temperature is cooler and product retention is stronger.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency: 2 to 3 sprays per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, depending on pest pressure and crop stage.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: This insecticide mixes well with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or high-pH copper sprays, and always run a small jar test 24 hours before a new tank-mix combination.
Safety, Precautions and Handling:
Wear hand gloves, face mask, and protective eyewear while handling the product.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
