Sumitomo Vidyut is a systemic plant growth regulator that is a triazole-class gibberellin biosynthesis inhibitor that works by redirecting the plant's growth energy from vegetative shoot elongation toward reproductive development. Red Gram (Pigeon Pea): Registered crop — foliar spray at the start of the flowering stage to increase branching, flowering, and pod fill
Mango: Collar drench application after fruit harvest — advances and synchronises flowering for the next season
Paddy / Rice: Foliar spray at the active tillering stage — increases tiller count and produces more productive shoots per hill

The Sumitomo Vidyut Dosage varies by crop type and application method:

Measure the required dose of Sumitomo Vidyut as per the crop and application method in the dose table above.
For foliar spray, add the measured quantity to a sprayer tank partially filled with clean water, mix well, and fill to the required volume before spraying.
Spray evenly on all plant surfaces — uniform coverage of all leaves and stems ensures consistent distribution and uptake.
For Mango collar drench, dig a small circular furrow around the base of the tree within the root zone, pour the diluted solution evenly into the furrow, and cover with soil — apply immediately after harvest for best flowering response in the next season.
For Red Gram, apply at the very start of the flowering stage — not before or significantly after — for the strongest branching and flowering response.
For Paddy, apply vidyut plant growth regulator at the active tillering stage when most tillers are actively forming.
Do not overdose — never exceed the recommended dose, as higher concentrations can cause excessive growth suppression and reduce yield rather than improve it.
Always spray during early morning or late evening.
Apply Sumitomo Vidyut in the early morning or late evening. Timing is critical — for Red Gram, apply at the start of flowering; for Mango, apply within 2–4 weeks of harvest; for Paddy, apply at the active tillering stage. Off-timing applications give reduced or no response.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed application per season is generally sufficient — Sumitomo Vidyut has a full-season systemic effect from a single application. For Mango, apply once after every harvest cycle.
Re-Entry Period: No strict re-entry restriction applies. Allow foliar spray to dry before re-entering the field. Standard protective precautions are sufficient.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Sumitomo Vidyut is generally used as a standalone application. Consult the label before mixing with other crop protection products. If mixing, always perform a jar test before use.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water if contact occurs.
