How to Use Sumitomo Hoshi Ultra:
Shake the product bottle well to ensure a uniform liquid before opening.
Measure the required quantity as per the crop-wise dosage table.
Fill the spray tank with about 70% of the required clean water.
Pour the measured product slowly into the tank while stirring continuously.
Top up with the remaining water and mix thoroughly until uniform.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces using a fine-mist nozzle.
Re-apply at 10 to 15-day intervals as per the crop stage and observed growth response.
Best Time to Apply:
Sumitomo Hoshi Ultra should be applied during the most growth-active phases of the crop — typically pre-flowering, fruit setting, and fruit development. For grapes, the spray window between bunch elongation and berry sizing gives the most striking field results. Always apply during early morning or late evening hours to maximize plant uptake and avoid quick drying of the spray solution under hot sunlight.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply Sumitomo Hoshi Ultra 2 to 3 times per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, focused around the most critical reproductive and growth stages of the crop.
Re-Entry Period: Workers may safely re-enter treated fields once the foliar spray has dried, generally within 4 to 6 hours of application.
Compatibility: The product is compatible with most water-soluble fertilizers, micronutrients, and commonly used pesticides. A small jar test is always recommended before any large-scale tank-mixing.
Safety, Precautions and Handling:
Always use proper protective gear — gloves, mask, goggles, and full-sleeve clothing — during measuring, mixing, and spraying.
Refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum while handling Sumitomo Hoshi Ultra.
Do not allow the concentrate or spray solution to come in contact with skin, eyes, or mouth; rinse immediately if exposure occurs.
After completing the spray, thoroughly wash the hands, face, neck, and arms with soap and clean water before any other activity.
Spray downwind so the mist drifts away from the operator; never spray into the wind.
Restrict the entry of children, livestock, and bystanders to the treated area until the spray has dried completely.
In case of accidental swallowing, splashing, or eye exposure, seek medical advice immediately and show the product label to the doctor.
