Sudarshan Sutathion is a three-active insecticide developed for managing major sucking pests in brinjal and cotton. This insecticide offers systemic and contact modes of action that work by providing growth regulation, nerve disruption, and inhibition of cellular respiration. This combination helps control whitefly, jassids, aphids, and thrips at different life stages. Sudarshan Sutathion gives quick pest suppression, supports longer crop protection, and helps manage populations that are difficult to control with a single mode of action.
Triple-Active Formula: Sutathion insecticide combines three active ingredients that provide different modes of action.
Dual Action: Sudarshan Sutathion offers systemic and contact modes of action, ensuring effective protection.
Life-Cycle Control: Sutathion insecticide affects immature development, feeding, reproduction, and active pest populations.
Quick Action: Sudarshan Sutathion helps reduce sucking pests before leaf curling, yellowing, and sap loss become severe.
Broad Coverage: Sutathion insecticide controls whitefly, jassids, aphids, and thrips in its recommended crops.
Resistance Management: Sudarshan Sutathion combines IRAC Groups 7C, 4A, and 12A, reducing dependence on one target site.
Uniform Foliar Performance: The suspension concentrate form of Sutathion insecticide supports easy mixing and even canopy coverage.
Whiteflies: Adults, nymphs, and developing stages that weaken plants by removing sap.
Leafhoppers: Jassids that cause leaf-margin yellowing, curling, and reduced crop vigour.
Aphids: Sap-feeding colonies found on tender shoots and lower leaf surfaces.
Thrips: Small pests that scrape plant tissue and damage young leaves, flowers, and shoots.
Recommended Crops: Sudarshan Sutathion is recommended mainly for brinjal and cotton.
Apply Sudarshan Sutathion as a uniform foliar spray. The Sutathion insecticide dose per litre depends on the total spray-water volume. When 200 litres of water are used per acre, 330 ml equals approximately 1.65 ml per litre.
Crop | Target Pests | Dose Per Acre | Application Method | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Brinjal | Whitefly, Jassids, Aphids, Thrips | 330 ml | Foliar spray with uniform canopy coverage | Check the pack label |
Cotton | Whitefly, Jassids, Aphids, Thrips | 330 ml | Foliar spray with uniform canopy coverage | Check the pack label |
Maintain the recommended acre dose of Sutathion insecticide even when the spray-water volume changes. The litre-wise quantity above is calculated using a 200-litre spray volume.
Inspect the field and confirm the presence of the recommended sucking pests.
Shake the Sutathion insecticide bottle thoroughly before measuring.
Measure 330 ml of Sudarshan Sutathion for one acre.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
Mix Sutathion insecticide separately with a small quantity of water.
Pour the premix into the main tank while stirring.
Add the remaining water and keep the solution properly agitated.
Spray Sudarshan Sutathion over the upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Focus coverage on tender shoots and pest-affected canopy areas.
Use the prepared Sutathion insecticide solution on the same day.
Apply Sudarshan Sutathion at the beginning of infestation before pest populations spread across the crop. In brinjal, application can begin after transplant establishment when the target pests cross the locally advised threshold. Spray Sutathion insecticide during the early morning or late evening in calm weather. Avoid treatment before rain or during strong wind.
Frequency of Application: One timely spray of Sudarshan Sutathion may be sufficient under low to moderate pest pressure. Repeat Sutathion insecticide only when field monitoring shows continued infestation and the label permits another treatment.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated field until the spray has dried. Follow the re-entry period printed on the product label.
Compatibility: Do not tank-mix Sudarshan Sutathion with another input unless compatibility is confirmed. Conduct a small jar test before preparing a full mixture.
Resistance Management: Rotate Sutathion insecticide with products from different IRAC groups instead of repeating the same combination continuously.
Read the label and confirm the crop, pest, and dose before use.
Wear gloves, a mask, goggles, protective clothing, and closed footwear while handling Sutathion insecticide.
Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew during mixing and spraying.
Avoid inhaling the spray mist or allowing Sutathion insecticide to touch the skin and eyes.
Do not use Sudarshan Sutathion above the recommended acre dose.
Keep the product and spray solution away from ponds, canals, and drinking-water sources.
Wash exposed skin, clothing, and spray equipment thoroughly after application.
Store the product in its original sealed and labelled container.
Keep Sutathion insecticide in a cool, dry, shaded, and ventilated storage area.
Protect the pack from moisture, direct sunlight, heat, and open flames.
Keep Sudarshan Sutathion separate from food, animal feed, seeds, and drinking water.
Store Sutathion insecticide beyond the reach of children and farm animals.
Do not transfer the product into food, beverage, or unlabelled containers.
