How to Use Indofil Alecto Insecticide:
Shake the Alecto Insecticide bottle well before opening to mix the active ingredient evenly.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Measure the right quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use 150 to 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
Best Time to Apply:
Spray Indofil Alecto Insecticide at the early stage of pest activity — when small caterpillars are just starting to feed, or when sucking pests colonise the new shoots. Because Alecto Insecticide has excellent residual protection, spraying early gives the strongest yield benefit. Late afternoon or early evening is the best window, as leaf temperature is cooler and product retention on the leaf is stronger.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency: 1 to 2 sprays of Alecto Insecticide per crop cycle at 20 to 25-day intervals — the long residual of Broflanilide means fewer sprays are needed compared to older insecticides.
Re-Entry Period: Wait 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Alecto Insecticide is compatible with most common fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture and lime sulfur. Always run a small jar test before a new tank-mix combination.
Safety, Precautions and Handling:
Use proper protective gear — gloves, mask, and eye protection — throughout mixing and spraying.
Do not eat food, drink water, or smoke while handling the product.
Stay upwind during spraying and keep family members and animals away from treated areas.
Clean the spray equipment and wash hands, face, and clothing thoroughly after each use.
If swallowed or exposed to skin or eyes, consult a doctor immediately along with the product label.
