Note: Since HPM Hindol Insecticide is a dry dust powder, no "dose per litre of water" applies — the product is used directly without dilution. Apply uniformly across the field for full pest coverage.
Open the HPM Hindol Insecticide pack carefully and measure the required quantity — usually 5 to 10 kg per acre.
Wear gloves, a face mask, and protective eyewear before handling the dust — Chlorpyriphos is a moderately toxic organophosphate.
Fill a manual or mechanical duster with the required quantity of the insecticide.
Walk evenly across the paddy or gram field, dusting uniformly over the crop canopy and soil surface.
For stem borer control, direct the dust toward the base and lower stems of paddy plants where borers are active.
For termite control, broadcast the dust near the plant base or apply directly into cracks/crevices of buildings or wooden structures.
Apply during calm weather to avoid dust drift — early morning or late evening is best.
Do not apply just before rain, as heavy rain will wash the dust off the crop.
Apply HPM Hindol Insecticide at the early stage of pest activity — when stem borer damage first appears on paddy tillers, when hoppers start settling on leaves, or when termite activity is spotted in the field. Early morning or late evening is the best window for dusting, as the air is calm and the dust settles properly on the crop without drifting away.
Frequency: 1 to 2 applications of Hindol Insecticide per crop cycle at 15 to 20-day intervals, depending on pest pressure.
Re-Entry Period: Wait 24 hours after application before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: HPM Hindol Insecticide is a stand-alone dust product and does not need tank-mixing. It can be used before or after other spray products, but not combined in the same application.
