Question 1

What is Slayer PRO Insecticide used for?

Accepted Answer

Slayer PRO Insecticide is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide used for effective control of both sucking pests (aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs) and chewing pests (caterpillars, borers, armyworm) across cotton, paddy, sugarcane, maize, chilli, tomato, brinjal, okra, cabbage, and other important Indian field and horticultural crops. It provides fast knockdown with long-lasting systemic protection for reliable pest management.

Question 2

What is GSP Slayer PRO dose per litre?

Accepted Answer

The recommended GSP Slayer PRO dose per litre is around 0.5 to 1 ml per litre of clean water for foliar spray application. Measure the required product carefully, add to sprayer tank filled with 70% clean water, mix thoroughly, top up with remaining water, and spray uniformly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces during cool morning or evening hours for maximum systemic absorption and pest control efficiency.

Question 3

How does GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide work?

Accepted Answer

GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide works through combined systemic and translaminar action within plant tissue — the active compound gets absorbed by leaves and roots, then translocated throughout the plant. When target pests feed on treated plant tissue, the compound disrupts their nervous system function, causing rapid feeding cessation, paralysis, and death within 24-48 hours, giving fast crop protection with long residual control.

Question 4

What is Slayer PRO Insecticide dose per acre?

Accepted Answer

The recommended Slayer PRO Insecticide dose per acre is around 100 to 200 ml per acre, mixed in about 200 litres of clean water for uniform foliar spray application. Adjust dose based on target pest and crop — for cotton bollworms and jassids use 150-200 ml/acre; for paddy stem borer use 150 ml/acre; for chilli/tomato fruit borer use 100-150 ml/acre. Follow crop-specific dosage recommendations.

Question 5

Which crops benefit from Slayer PRO Insecticide?

Accepted Answer

Crops that benefit most from Slayer PRO Insecticide include cotton (bollworms, jassids, whiteflies, aphids), paddy (stem borer, leaf folder, brown planthopper), sugarcane (early shoot borer), maize (fall armyworm, stem borer), chilli/tomato/brinjal (fruit borer, thrips, whiteflies), okra (shoot & fruit borer), cabbage/cauliflower (DBM, aphids), and other important vegetable and field crops facing pest complex problems.

Question 6

Does Slayer PRO Insecticide provide long-lasting control?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Slayer PRO Insecticide provides long-lasting broad-spectrum pest control of approximately 14 to 21 days on treated crops due to systemic movement within plant tissue and residual leaf surface persistence. Actual duration depends on crop growth rate, rainfall, sunlight exposure, and pest pressure intensity. Repeat application at 10-14 day intervals during high pest pressure gives continuous crop protection through critical growing stages.

Question 7

Is Slayer PRO Insecticide effective for cotton bollworm?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Slayer PRO Insecticide is highly effective against cotton bollworm complex (American bollworm, pink bollworm, spotted bollworm), jassids, whiteflies, aphids, and other important cotton pests. Applied at 150-200 ml per acre during active pest attack, the systemic + translaminar action gives fast knockdown of feeding pests, prevents further crop damage, and protects cotton lint yield through multiple pest generations across the season.

Question 8

Does Slayer PRO Insecticide control sucking pests?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Slayer PRO Insecticide effectively controls sucking pests including aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, and mealybugs through systemic action. The compound is absorbed by plant leaves and translocated through translaminar movement to reach sucking pests feeding on both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Fast knockdown occurs within 24-48 hours, with residual protection continuing for 10-14 days depending on crop and environmental conditions.

Question 9

Is GSP Slayer PRO effective for fall armyworm?

Accepted Answer

Yes, GSP Slayer PRO provides effective control against fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) in maize and other affected crops. Applied at 150-200 ml per acre at early larval stage when small worms are feeding on maize whorls, the systemic + translaminar action reaches larvae hidden inside whorls and gives fast knockdown before larvae reach damaging later instars. Rotate with different MOA insecticides for resistance management.

Question 10

When is the best time to apply Slayer PRO Insecticide?

Accepted Answer

The best time to apply Slayer PRO Insecticide is at early pest infestation appearance or at economic threshold level when small pest colonies are first noticed. For caterpillar pests, target early larval stage when small worms are actively feeding. Apply during cool morning or late evening hours with no rain expected for the next 4-6 hours for maximum systemic absorption and pest control efficiency across treated crops.

Question 11

Can Slayer PRO Insecticide be tank-mixed with fungicides?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Slayer PRO Insecticide is generally compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides, and water-soluble fertilizers for combined tank-mix foliar spray applications, saving labour and spray operations. Always do a small jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products to check physical compatibility. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture that may cause chemical instability and reduce product efficacy.

Question 12

Is GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide safe for beneficial insects?

Accepted Answer

GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide is toxic to bees, pollinators, and beneficial insects — take extreme care during application. Do not spray during peak bee foraging hours (10 AM to 4 PM), avoid application near flowering crops or beehives, use selective spray timing (early morning or late evening), do not spray if pollinators are visible on flowers, and follow all pollinator and beneficial insect safety label guidelines strictly for ecological conservation.

Question 13

What safety precautions apply for Slayer PRO Insecticide use?

Accepted Answer

Read all instructions carefully before applying GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide. Wear proper safety gear including gloves, mask, safety goggles, and full-sleeve protective clothing during handling and spraying. Avoid direct skin contact and inhalation of spray mist. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during preparation and application. Store the product safely out of reach of kids and animals. Follow all label safety guidelines strictly.

Question 14

Is GSP Slayer PRO for agricultural use only?

Accepted Answer

Yes, GSP Slayer PRO Insecticide is strictly for agricultural and gardening purposes only — NOT for household pest control or indoor use. Use only on approved crops per the product label recommendations. Do not use inside homes, on stored grains, on food products, or for domestic pest control applications. Follow all state and central government regulatory guidelines for approved crop use and pesticide handling safety.

Question 15

How to store Slayer PRO Insecticide properly?

Accepted Answer

Store Slayer PRO Insecticide in its original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and freezing conditions. Store separately from food, animal feed, seeds, and drinking water sources. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and unauthorized persons. Preferred storage temperature is below 30°C. Shelf life is typically 24 months from date of manufacture. Follow the expiry date printed on the pack.
