Pump dose: Use 5–7 gm of Dhanuka EM-1 per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar use.
Measure the required quantity of Dhanuka EM-1 as per the crop-wise dosage table.
Fill the spray tank with about 70% of the required clean water.
Make a small slurry of EM-1 in a separate container with a little water to ensure proper dissolving.
Pour the slurry into the spray tank while stirring continuously.
Top up with the remaining water and mix thoroughly until uniform.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower surfaces of the leaves with a fine-mist nozzle.
Re-spray Dhanuka EM-1 after 10–15 days if pest pressure is high or fresh infestation appears.
The best time to apply Dhanuka EM-1 is during the early morning or late evening hours when the weather is calm, temperatures are mild, and there is no strong sunlight. Spray EM-1 at the first sign of pest activity or when pest counts cross the economic threshold level for maximum effectiveness and minimum crop loss.
Frequency of Application: Apply Dhanuka EM-1 insecticide 1 to 2 times per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, depending on pest pressure and crop stage.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 to 24 hours after application without proper protective clothing.
Compatibility: Dhanuka EM-1 insecticide is compatible with most commonly used insecticides, fungicides, and water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture. Always perform a small jar test before tank-mixing.
Wear hand gloves, a face mask, full-sleeve clothing, and protective eyewear while handling Dhanuka EM-1.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during the preparation and spraying of EM-1.
Avoid direct skin, eye, or mouth contact with the product or spray solution.
Wash hands, face, and exposed body parts thoroughly with soap and water after each application.
Always spray with the wind behind you and never spray against the wind direction.
Keep children, pets, livestock, and unprotected persons away from the field during and immediately after spraying.
In case of accidental ingestion or contact, rinse the affected area with plenty of water and consult a doctor with the product label.
Store Dhanuka EM-1 insecticide in its original sealed pack in a cool, dry, shaded place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, drinking water, and seed material.
Keep out of reach of children, pets, and farm animals at all times.
