How to Use Dhanuka EM-1 Insecticide:
Measure the required quantity of Dhanuka EM-1 as per the crop-wise dosage table.
Fill the spray tank with about 70% of the required clean water.
Make a small slurry of EM-1 in a separate container with a little water to ensure proper dissolving.
Pour the slurry into the spray tank while stirring continuously.
Top up with the remaining water and mix thoroughly until uniform.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower surfaces of the leaves with a fine-mist nozzle.
Re-spray Dhanuka EM-1 after 10–15 days if pest pressure is high or fresh infestation appears.
Best Time to Apply:
The best time to apply Dhanuka EM-1 is during the early morning or late evening hours when the weather is calm, temperatures are mild, and there is no strong sunlight. Spray EM-1 at the first sign of pest activity or when pest counts cross the economic threshold level for maximum effectiveness and minimum crop loss.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply Dhanuka EM-1 insecticide 1 to 2 times per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, depending on pest pressure and crop stage.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 to 24 hours after application without proper protective clothing.
