Sumitomo Progibb Easy is a versatile Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) that helps improve yields by binding to cell receptors and deactivating growth receptors, which improves the crop's growth rate and yield production. Sumitomo Progibb Easy is effective for all fruits, flowers, and vegetables and is particularly valued in grapes, paddy, wheat, and maize. The Progibb Easy PGR is also very beginner-friendly as it can be applied without much effort.
Higher Yields: Progibb Easy increases flower growth and reduces premature fruit drop, directly improving yields.
Improved Germination: Sumitomo Progibb Easy helps break seed dormancy and fastens germination, providing uniform crop development.
Long-Lasting: This plant growth regulator offers prolonged effects upon application, reducing the need for frequent applications.
Enhanced Yields: The Progibb Easy PGR increases the overall size of fruits and enhances their colour.
Easy to Use: Sumitomo Progibb Easy can be mixed easily with water for simple and hassle-free application.
Progibb Easy Uses cover a wide range of crops at specific critical growth stages:
Grapes: Apply 2.5 gm in 100 litres of water — first spray at the pre-bloom stage and second at the berry set stage for seedless berry elongation and bunch weight improvement
Paddy / Rice: Apply at the panicle initiation stage for better panicle length, grain count per panicle, and overall grain weight
Wheat: Apply at the tillering stage for more productive tillers and at pre-heading for better grain filling
Maize: Apply at the VT (tasselling) stage for better pollen formation and silk synchrony
Vegetables (Tomato, Chilli, Okra): Apply at pre-flowering for better flower formation and fruit set
All Fruits and Flowers: Apply at pre-bloom and fruit development stages for improved fruit size, colour, and quality
The Progibb Easy Dose Per Litre is 0.025 gm per litre of water — equivalent to 2.5 gm per 100 litres of water. This is a very low dose concentration that should be measured precisely using a calibrated scale.
Application | Dose | Water Volume | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Foliar Spray | 2.5 gm | Per 100 litres of water | All crops — apply at critical growth stage |
Grapes (Berry Elongation) | 2.5 gm | Per 100 litres | At pre-bloom and berry set stages |
Paddy / Wheat | 2.5 gm | Per 100 litres | At panicle initiation or tillering stage |
Measure 2.5 gm of Progibb Easy accurately using a calibrated scale — the 40% WSG concentration means even small dose variations affect efficacy.
Pre-dissolve in a small amount of clean water first and stir until fully dissolved before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank to 100 litres of clean water and mix well before spraying.
Apply as a uniform foliar spray covering all plant surfaces — leaves, stems, and developing flowers and fruits — during the critical crop growth stage.
For Grapes, apply the first spray at the pre-bloom stage and the second at the berry set stage for the strongest berry elongation and bunch weight improvement.
For Paddy and Wheat, apply at the panicle initiation and tillering stages, respectively, for the best grain count and tiller productivity response.
Always spray Progibb Easy during early morning or late evening for best stomatal absorption.
Wash hands properly after using the product.
Apply Sumitomo Progibb Easy in the early morning or late evening. Timing is critical — applying Progibb Easy at the exact recommended crop growth stage gives the strongest yield response. Off-timing applications significantly reduce the benefit.
Frequency of Application: Apply 1–2 times per season at the recommended crop stage-specific windows. For Grapes, two applications — at pre-bloom and berry set — give the strongest yield and berry quality response. For most other crops, one well-timed application per season is sufficient.
Re-Entry Period: Progibb Easy is non-toxic. No re-entry restriction applies. Allow foliar spray to dry before re-entering the field.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Sumitomo Progibb Easy is compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products.
Always wear protective clothes while working in the field with Progibb Easy.
