PerfoSil is an Ecocert-certified plant immunity and yield booster based on bioavailable stabilized silica equivalent to 3% Orthosilicic Acid upon absorption. It helps plants withstand biotic and abiotic stress, builds their immune systems, and enhances nutrient uptake.

PerfoSil has proven efficacy as an immunity and yield booster of plants in crops like fruits, vegetables, flowers, cereals, pulses, legumes, cotton, sugarcane, tea, etc., both in the greenhouse and open-field cultivations.

Technical Content:

Bio-Available Stabilized Silica - 3%, Sorbitol – 15%

Key Features and Advantages:

Increase Growth: Activates plant pathways to stimulate growth and self-acquired resistance (SAR) against fungi and bacteria
Stress Resistance: Builds tolerance to biotic & abiotic stress. Improves drought resistance by reducing water requirement up to 40%

Dosage and Application Method:

For Seed Dip Treatment: PerfoSil 1 ml / 1 lit for 30 min, Remove, Shake dry and Sow
Sapling Dip Treatment: PerfoSil 1 ml / 1 lit – Dip roots, remove, shake & transplant
Foliar Spray: PerfoSil 1 ml / 1 lit
Drip Systems: PerfoSil 1ml / 1 lit, give half an hour before stopping the drip cycle

Mode of Action:

After foliar spray, PerfoSil facilitates the uptake & transport of water & nutrients in required
proportion to all parts of the plant.
It also reduces transpiration through the thick leaf & optimizes water management in the plant.
It accumulates in the cuticle & epidermis of the leaf, thus increasing natural resistance against insects. The jaws of sucking mites/insects get damaged due to thick tissues & hence they cannot chew/bite the leaves.

Compatibility:

It is compatible with commonly used plant nutrition & plant protection products.

Do not mix with acidic water or products, or they will polymerize. Do not keep it out in the open or in sunlight.

PerfoSil Stability:

Silica is stable only at high pH and is not found in nature. When it comes into contact with CO2 in the atmosphere, silica instantly polymerizes at an even pH of 7. Most silica formulations worldwide are acidic, so they tend to polymerize fast or have a short shelf life.

PerfoSil Speciality

PerfoSil is stabilized at a highly alkaline pH and is stable for up to four years. Compared to the competition, which gives up to 0.8 to 1%, we can offer a higher stabilized silica content of up to 3%. It has been tested in Kenya, Sri Lanka, India, Iran, Costa Rica, Canada, the US, Latin America, and Ghana.
