How to Use Indofil Z-78 Fungicide:
Open the Indofil Z-78 Fungicide pack carefully and measure the required quantity using a clean spoon or weighing cup.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
Slowly add the measured Z-78 Fungicide into the tank while stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly to form a uniform spray solution.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces uniformly — since Z-78 is a contact fungicide, complete leaf coverage is essential for good disease control.
Use 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Indofil Z-78 Fungicide as a preventive spray before disease pressure builds up — typically after the first monsoon rains or during humid, cool weather when Alternaria, downy mildew, or blight infections are most likely to start. If infection has already appeared, spray Z-78 Fungicide immediately after spotting the first symptoms and repeat at 10 to 12-day intervals. Early morning (before 10 AM) or late afternoon (after 4 PM) is the best window, when leaf temperature is cooler, and the spray sticks well to the leaf surface.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency: 3 to 4 sprays of Z-78 Fungicide per crop cycle at 10 to 12-day intervals, depending on disease pressure and weather.
Re-Entry Period: Wait 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Indofil Z-78 Fungicide is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fertilizers. Do NOT mix with lime sulfur, Bordeaux mixture, or alkaline solutions — these will break down the Zineb molecule. Always run a small jar test before a new tank-mix.
Safety, Precautions and Handling:
Wear hand gloves, face mask, and protective eyewear while handling the product.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray Indofil Z-78 fungicide downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
