Hpm Capture is an organophosphorus insecticide designed for the control of a wide range of chewing and sucking pests on cotton crops. Its quick knockdown action and prolonged residual activity make it highly effective against bollworms, jassids, aphids, thrips, and whiteflies. Capture acts as a contact and stomach insecticide and exhibits both larvicidal and ovicidal activity. It works best when applied against third instar larvae for optimal results.
Mode of Action:
Inhibition of Cholinesterase: Capture is a cholinesterase inhibitor, interfering with nerve transmission in pests.
Contact & Stomach Action: Acts through contact and ingestion by pests. Exhibits a translaminar effect, reaching pests hidden within the plant.
Ovicidal Properties: Reduces pest populations by targeting eggs.
