Dhanuka Qurin herbicide is a selective and systemic herbicide containing Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP. It works by blocking an essential enzyme, stopping the production of essential amino acids for photosynthesis, and stopping the weed's growth and killing it. The Qurin herbicide shows rapid results for rapid weed removal and ensures healthier crop growth by removing nutrient competition. This herbicide leaves behind no residue, making it safe to use and one of the most economic options, as it works well at low doses.
Strong Formula: This Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP formula offers effective results at very low doses, making it very cost-effective.
Quick Absorption: The Dhanuka Qurin herbicide is absorbed quickly through the roots and leaves of the weeds, providing quick results.
Rapid Effects: Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP stops weed growth immediately, removing the need for nutrient competition.
Broad-Spectrum: Dhanuka Qurin herbicide controls various broadleaf weeds, sedges, and Cyperus spp as well, making it versatile.
Safe to Use: Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP is metabolised quickly into the weed and dissolves quickly in the environment, leaving behind no residue.
Flexible Uses: The Dhanuka Qurin herbicide can be used as a pre and post-emergent, providing high flexibility in use.
Qurin Dhanuka Uses cover broadleaf weeds and sedges in the two registered crops:
Broadleaf Weeds: Commelina benghalensis (Kena / Wandering Jew), Portulaca oleracea (Purslane), Amaranthus spp. (Pigweed), Euphorbia spp., Digera arvensis, Phyllanthus niruri
Sedges: Cyperus rotundus (Purple Nutsedge / Motha), Cyperus iria (Rice Flatsedge)
Other Broadleaf Weeds: Convolvulus arvensis, Tridax procumbens, Trianthema portulacastrum
Registered Crops: Transplanted Paddy (Rice) and Soybean
Apply Dhanuka Qurin Herbicide as a post-emergence spray when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage, and the crop is well established. Apply 10–20 days after transplanting for Paddy and 10–20 days after sowing (DAS) for Soybean.
The Qurin Herbicide Dose Per Litre equivalent is 0.075 gm per litre of water — this is a powder herbicide, so the dose is always measured in grams, not ml.
Crop | Target Weeds | Dose Per Acre | Total Water Per Acre | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Transplanted Paddy | Broadleaf weeds, Cyperus spp. | 15 gm | 200 litres | 10–20 days after transplanting |
Soybean | Broadleaf weeds, Sedges, Cyperus spp. | 15 gm | 200 litres | 10–20 DAS — 2–4 leaf weed stage |
Measure exactly 15 gm of Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP per acre as per the dose table above — do not exceed the recommended dose.
Dissolve the measured powder in a small amount of clean water in a separate container and stir well until fully dissolved.
Pour the dissolved solution into the sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix thoroughly.
Fill the tank with the remaining water — use 200 litres per acre for uniform field coverage.
Spray uniformly as a flat fan broadcast application covering the entire field surface including weed foliage.
Apply when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage — delayed application beyond 4 leaves significantly reduces weed control effectiveness.
Ensure adequate soil moisture at the time of application for best root absorption and translocation through the weed.
Do not spray during windy conditions or when rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
Apply Qurin Herbicide in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are moderate. For Paddy, apply 10–20 days after transplanting. For Soybean, apply 10–20 days after sowing. Early application at the 2–4 weed leaf stage gives the fastest knockdown and best season-long weed control.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed application per season is generally sufficient for season-long weed control in both Paddy and Soybean. Do not repeat Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP applications in the same season — excess doses can affect the next crop planted in the same field.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after application. Allow spray to dry and settle fully before re-entry.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Dhanuka Qurin Herbicide can be tank-mixed with compatible grass herbicides for combined broadleaf and grassy weed control. Always perform a jar test before mixing. Do not mix with alkaline products.
Do not exceed 15 gm per acre — overdosing Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP can leave soil residue that damages sensitive crops in the following season.
Do not apply on crops other than registered Paddy and Soybean — Qurin Herbicide will damage unregistered crops.
Crop rotation restriction: avoid planting sensitive crops like Cotton, Maize, and Vegetables within 60–90 days of application in the same field.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Dhanuka Qurin Herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Do not allow spray drift onto non-registered crops in adjacent fields.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
Store Qurin Herbicide in its original sealed packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Keep tightly sealed after use to prevent moisture absorption and clumping.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Store out of reach of children and farm animals.
