The Sigalit Insecticide Dose Per Litre is 0.6 gm per litre of water — equivalent to 9 gm per 15L pump and 120 gm per acre in 200 litres of water.

Measure 120 gm of Sigalit insecticide per acre as per the dose table above — equivalent to 9 gm per 15L pump.
Pre-dissolve the WDG granules in a small amount of clean water and stir until fully dissolved before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water — 200 litres per acre — and mix well before spraying.
Direct the spray toward the base of the Paddy plant and the lower stem zone — the area where BPH nymphs and adults concentrate near the waterline for feeding.
Apply when BPH populations first appear in the field or at the Economic Threshold Level — early application prevents Hopper Burn development and protects productive tiller count.
Spray during early morning or late evening when BPH are most active, and the wind is calm for even coverage.

Apply Adama Sigalit in the early morning or late evening. For BPH management in Paddy, apply at the active tillering and panicle initiation stages when hopper populations first reach the economic threshold — these are the two most BPH-susceptible growth stages in the Paddy crop cycle.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of BPH infestation or at the Economic Threshold Level (EIL). Adama Sigalit provides long-lasting, continuous protection — repeat if pest populations rebound after the residual period. Do not exceed 2–3 applications per season — always rotate Sigalit insecticide with products from different IRAC groups after 2 consecutive applications.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after spraying. Allow the spray to settle fully before walking through the treated paddy field.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Adama Sigalit is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline inputs.
