Bayer Ricestar is a selective post-emergent herbicide used for grassy weed control in paddy and contains Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC, which is absorbed through weed leaves and stems after spraying. It works by disturbing fatty acid formation in grassy weeds, so their growth stops and they slowly dry. Ricestar herbicide is mainly useful against Echinochloa-type weeds, including jungle rice and barnyard grass, which compete strongly with paddy for nutrients, sunlight, space, and water. This herbicide has good crop selectivity when used at the correct stage and dose. The Ricestar herbicide works best when weeds are young, active, and at the 3 to 5 leaf stage.
Selective Control: Bayer Ricestar controls grassy weeds in paddy while keeping the rice crop safe when used at the recommended dose.

Use Bayer Ricestar as a foliar post-emergence spray in paddy. Ricestar Herbicide Dose is generally 350 ml per acre in 150 to 200 litres of clean water. Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC should be sprayed evenly on actively growing weeds for better absorption. Ricestar herbicide should not be applied on dry, stressed, submerged, or muddy weeds.

Measure the required quantity of Bayer Ricestar as per the acreage.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Add the measured Ricestar herbicide into a small amount of water first.
Mix Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC properly before adding it to the spray tank.
Add the remaining water and stir the spray solution well.
Drain standing water from the paddy field before spraying Bayer Ricestar.
Spray Ricestar herbicide uniformly on exposed grassy weeds.
Use a flat fan nozzle for better weed coverage.
Spray Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC when grasses are at the 3 to 5 leaf stage.

Apply Bayer Ricestar as an early post-emergent spray when grassy weeds are young and actively growing. Ricestar herbicide works better when the field is moist, but weeds are not fully submerged. Morning or evening spray is better for lower drift and better coverage.
Frequency of Application: One proper Bayer Ricestar spray is generally enough for early grassy weed control in paddy.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated field for at least 24 hours after Ricestar herbicide application without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Do not mix Bayer Ricestar blindly with other herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, or growth products. Always do a jar test first.
Water Management: Drain standing water before spraying Ricestar herbicide, and avoid immediate flooding after application.
Resistance Care: Rotate Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC with other weed management methods to reduce resistance pressure in grassy weeds.

Wear gloves, mask, goggles, long sleeves, and protective footwear while mixing and spraying Ricestar herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything during Bayer Ricestar application.

Do not inhale spray mist while applying Ricestar herbicide in the field.
Do not apply the herbicide directly on top of crops other than recommended paddy.
