Adama Shamir fungicide is a dual-action fungicide that offers systemic and contact modes of action. This fungicide works by disrupting the biosynthesis of ergosterol and interrupting respiration and basic metabolic functions, stopping fungal growth and spread. The Shamir fungicide offers complete and even coverage on a single application and has strong resistance management, ensuring strong protection from harmful fungal diseases.
Key Features and Benefits of Shamir Fungicide:
Dual Protection: Adama Shamir fungicide offers systemic and contact modes of action for effective protection.
Complete Coverage: The Shamir fungicide offers strong translaminar activity, which helps cover the entire crop for complete coverage.
Flexible Application: This fungicide can be used as a preventive and curative application, making it highly versatile.
Resistance Management: The Shamir fungicide targets two processes simultaneously, making it tough for pathogens to develop resistance.
Broad-Spectrum: This fungicide can be used against fungal diseases like Anthracnose, Fruit Rot, Powdery Mildew, and others.
Shamir Fungicide Uses — What Does It Control?
Shamir fungicide uses cover both foliar and fruit diseases across multiple registered crops:
Crop | Target Diseases |

Adama Shamir Dose — Crop-Wise Recommended Dose:
Mix this fungicide in 200 litres of clean water per acre for foliar spray. Apply preventively or at the very first sign of disease.
The Shamir Fungicide Dosage is 250–400 ml per acre — equivalent to 2–3 ml per litre of water and 30–45 ml per 15L pump across all registered crops.
Crop | Target Disease | Dose Per Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
Apple | Scab, Blotch, Anthracnose | 250–400 ml | 22–30 ml | 21 days |
Chilli | Anthracnose, Fruit Rot, Powdery Mildew | 250–400 ml | 22–30 ml | 7 days |

How To Use Adama Shamir Fungicide:
Shake the bottle well before measuring. Adama Shamir Fungicide is an SC formulation that requires uniform mixing.
Measure the required dose of Shamir fungicide as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Pre-mix in a small amount of clean water before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate well before spraying.
Spray evenly on all plant parts — upper and lower leaf surfaces, young shoots, flower trusses, and developing fruit — for complete coverage.
Apply preventively before disease appears, particularly during warm, humid, or wet weather when Apple Scab and Chilli Anthracnose infection risk is highest.
Apply during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying in midday heat or when rain is expected within 3–4 hours.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Shamir fungicide in the early morning or late evening. For Apple, begin preventive sprays at the green tip or pink bud stage — the most critical Apple Scab infection window in the season. For Chilli, begin sprays from flowering when humidity and temperature conditions favour Anthracnose and Fruit Rot.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply every 10–14 days during periods of high disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season — rotate Adama Shamir Fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive applications to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: This is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Safety Precautions and Handling:
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Adama Shamir Fungicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 24 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
