How To Use Adama Acemain Insecticide:
Measure the required dose of Adama Acemain Insecticide as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Pre-dissolve the measured powder in a small amount of clean water in a separate container and stir until fully dissolved.
Pour the dissolved solution into the sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix thoroughly.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate well before spraying.
Use a hollow cone or flat fan nozzle — ensure spray reaches both upper and lower leaf surfaces and the base of stems where BPH and stem borers are active.
Apply this Acephate 75% SP formula at the first sign of pest activity or when pest populations cross the Economic Threshold Level.
Spray during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during peak bee foraging hours.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Adama Acemain Insecticide in the early morning or late evening. For Cotton, spray at the first sign of sucking pest colony formation or Bollworm egg hatching. For Paddy hoppers, apply at the active tillering stage. For vegetables, apply at the first sign of infestation for the fastest and most complete pest knockdown.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. Adama Acemain Insecticide provides 7–10 days of residual activity. Repeat as needed, up to 2–3 applications per season. Rotate with insecticides from different IRAC groups after 2 consecutive Acephate 75% SP applications to prevent resistance build-up.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products.
Safety Precautions and Handling:
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Adama Acemain Insecticide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application of Acephate 75% SP.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Toxic to bees — do not spray during active bee foraging hours or near beehives.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 24 hours.
