2,4-D Ethyl Ester 38% EC

2,4-D works as a synthetic auxin. It belongs to a family of phenoxy-carboxylic acids. It is used on a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic broadleaf weeds. It has little effect on grasses.

Features and Benefits:

Heera-44 is a safe and wide-spectrum weedicide for the control of broad-leaved weeds in many crops.
It is a selective, systemic weedicide of the Phenoxy acetic group.
Apart from effectively controlling broadleaf weeds, these also control the Cyperus sp.
It is absorbed by the leaves and roots and translocated into the weed plants.
Ensure sufficient soil moisture at the time of application.
It should be applied between 30-40 Days of sowing/planting.

Mode of Action:

It is a selective systemic herbicide.
It acts as a growth inhibitor. The salts are readily absorbed by the roots, whilst esters are readily absorbed by the foliage.
Translocation occurs, with accumulation principally at the meristematic regions of shoots and roots.
