Mytoren is a systemic insecticide containing Pymetrozine 50% WG, made to control sucking pests that damage paddy and other crops. Mytoren blocks the pest's feeding mechanism — within minutes of contact, the insect stops feeding completely and eventually dies of starvation. This unique mode of action makes Mytoren highly effective against Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), aphids, whiteflies, and other hoppers, including strains that have developed resistance to older chemistries. The WG (Water Dispersible Granule) formulation of Pymetrozine 50% WG dissolves cleanly in water and sprays evenly without forming clumps or foam. Mytoren is also gentle on beneficial insects like ladybugs, lacewings, and parasitoid wasps, making it ideal for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes in paddy, vegetables, and mango orchards.
Quick Action: Pymetrozine 50% WG stops pests from sucking sap within minutes of contact.
Unique Formula: Mytoren insecticide has a different mode of action from neonicotinoids and organophosphates, making it effective for resistance management.
Prolonged Effects: A single spray of Pymetrozine 50% WG lasts for a long time, reducing the need for frequent application.
Rainfast Properties: Mytoren insecticide remains active on the leaves even after light rainfall.
Pest Life Control: This insecticide is effective against nymphs, adults, and pest strains that have developed resistance.
Safe for Beneficials: Pymetrozine 50% WG is highly selective as it does not harm bees, ladybugs, or natural pest predators.
Virus Control Support: By stopping sucking pests, it reduces the spread of viral diseases such as Tungro Virus in paddy.
Plant Hoppers: Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), White-Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH), Green Leafhopper
Aphids: Cotton Aphid, Mustard Aphid, Green Peach Aphid, Mango Aphid
Whiteflies: All stages, including eggs, nymphs, and adults
Mango Hoppers: Idioscopus species during the flowering and fruiting stage
Other Sucking Pests: Jassids and certain Psyllids
Mix Mytoren in 150 to 200 litres of clean water per acre for foliar spray. Apply as soon as pest activity is noticed for the best results.

Mango | Mango Hopper | 120 gm | 9 gm | 30 days |
Cotton | Aphids, Whiteflies | 120 to 150 gm | 9 to 12 gm | 14 days |
Chilli | Aphids, Whiteflies | 120 gm | 9 gm | 7 days |
Brinjal | Whiteflies, Aphids | 120 gm | 9 gm | 7 days |

Mustard | Aphids | 100 to 120 gm | 8 to 9 gm | 21 days |
Note: Do not exceed the recommended dose. For paddy, direct the spray towards the base of the plants where hoppers gather.
Measure the correct dose of Mytoren based on the crop and pest from the dosage table.
Pre-mix the granules in a small bucket of clean water and stir until fully dissolved.
Add this solution to the sprayer tank and fill with the remaining clean water.
Stir or shake the tank well to ensure a uniform mixture.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces, paying special attention to the base of the plants where hoppers hide.
For paddy, walk between the rows and direct the spray nozzle towards the stem base, just above the water level.
Wash the sprayer, nozzles, and hoses with clean water after use.
Spray Pymetrozine 50% WG in the early morning or late evening when the air is cool and calm. Avoid spraying during the hot afternoon sun or in strong winds. The first spray should be applied at the earliest sign of pest activity — small clusters of hoppers at the plant base or the first colony of aphids on tender shoots. Do not wait for the population to build up, as control becomes harder once the pests are well established.
Frequency: Spray Pymetrozine 50% WG at the first sign of pest activity. A second spray can be applied 12 to 15 days later if pest pressure continues. Limit total applications to 2 sprays per crop season to slow resistance build-up.
Re-Entry: Do not enter the sprayed area for at least 12 hours after application without protective gear.
Tank-Mix: Mytoren insecticide is compatible with most common insecticides, fungicides, and water-soluble fertilisers. Do not mix with strongly alkaline products such as Bordeaux mixture or lime sulphur. Always carry out a small jar test before any new combination.
Wear gloves, a mask, goggles, full sleeves, and boots before opening the packet.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Wash your hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after work.
Always spray downwind to avoid drift onto your face and body.
Keep children, pets, and farm animals away from the treated field until the spray has fully dried.
Although Pymetrozine 50% WG is comparatively safe for bees and aquatic life, avoid spraying directly on flowering crops during peak bee activity hours.
Rinse empty packets three times, puncture them, and dispose of them as per local rules.
Store Pymetrozine 50% WG in its original sealed packet in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Keep Pymetrozine 50% WG separate from food, drinking water, animal feed, and seeds.
Always keep out of reach of children, pets, and farm animals.
