SUBABUL—SOUNDAL (KOOBABUL) is a fast-growing, drought-resistant, tropical leguminous tree. It is also known as river tamarind seeds. SUBABUL leaves and shoots are rich in protein and highly suitable for fodder seeds. 

This tree can be grown on various types of soil. However, it is recommended that the Subabul tree seeds be sown on deep and fertile soil. It requires frequent irrigation, and once the seed germinates in 7 to 10 days, you can add organic manure to boost health and soil structure. 

Once the Subabul tree reaches maturity, in two to three months, you can harvest the leaves and use them as green fodder for your cattle. You can also sow the seeds in mother beds and later transplant them into poly pots and bags.
