JU Strepto Plus is a broad-spectrum bactericide containing Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP. It controls bacterial diseases in crops through both contact and systemic action — getting absorbed into the plant after application and moving through the vascular system to suppress bacterial pathogens in leaves, stems, and roots. Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP is highly effective when applied after the crop is already infected, giving strong curative results against active bacterial infections. JU Strepto Plus fungicide is suitable for Rice, Wheat, Apple, Cotton, Pulses, Cauliflower, Oilseeds, and other crops. Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP can also be used as a seed treatment and seedling root dip for early disease prevention, making it a versatile option.
Key Features & Benefits Of JU Strepto Plus
Strong Curative Action: JU Strepto Plus is highly effective after the crop is already infected — it moves systemically through the plant and suppresses active bacterial infections quickly.
Dual Antibiotic Combination: The combination Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP gives broader and faster bacterial disease control than either antibiotic alone.
Systemic Action: Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP gets absorbed into the plant after application and moves through the entire vascular system, reaching bacterial infections in leaves, stems, and roots.
Rainfast: Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP is absorbed quickly into plant tissue — remains effective even after rainfall within a few hours of application.
Multiple Application Methods: Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP is suitable for foliar spray, seed treatment, and seedling root dip — flexible for different crops and disease situations.
Wide Crop Coverage: Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP is effective on Rice, Wheat, Apple, Cotton, Pulses, Cauliflower, Oilseeds, Sugarcane, Mango, Grapes, and Vegetables.
High Compatibility: JU Strepto Plus fungicide can be mixed with Copper Oxychloride and most commonly used fungicides for combined bacterial and fungal disease management.

How To Use JU Strepto Plus — Application Instructions
Measure the required quantity of JU Strepto Plus carefully as per the dosage table.
Fill the sprayer tank to about halfway capacity with clean water.
Add the measured dose and stir until completely dissolved — JU Strepto Plus is readily soluble in water.
Fill with the remaining clean water and mix gently until completely uniform.
Apply Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP evenly across all plant surfaces — cover upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems, and growing tips thoroughly.
For seed treatment, dissolve 6 to 12 g in 60 liters of water and soak seeds for 2 hours before sowing.
For the seedling root dip, dissolve in the required volume of water and dip the seedling roots for 30 minutes before transplanting.
Best Time to Apply
Apply Strepto Plus fungicide in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool, and wind speed is low. Apply Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP at the first sign of bacterial disease — early curative application gives significantly better results than waiting for symptoms to spread.
Frequency of Application & Re-Entry Period
Frequency of Application: Apply Streptomycin Sulphate 90% + Tetracycline Hydrochloride 10% SP at the first sign of bacterial disease. Repeat after 15 to 20 days if disease pressure continues. Do not apply more than 2 to 3 times per season.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-mix Compatibility: JU Strepto Plus fungicide is compatible with most commonly used fungicides, including Copper Oxychloride. Always do a jar test before mixing with any new product. Do not mix with alkaline products.
