Capsicum is commonly used for nerve pain and other painful conditions. It is also used for many other purposes, including digestion problems, conditions of the heart and blood vessels, and many others. Sweet pepper is more sensitive to unfavorable environments. The optimum night temperature for quality fruit production is 16-18°C. When the temperature falls below 16°C for extended periods, growth and yields usually decrease. It can tolerate day temperatures over 30°C and night temperatures of 21-24°C.
