Katyayani Imida is a systemic insecticide by Katyayani Organics, containing Imidacloprid 30.5% SC, which is a highly effective neonicotinoid formulation for controlling sucking pests across a wide range of crops. Imida insecticide is rapidly absorbed by the plant through its roots and leaves, and moves systemically through the entire plant tissue, reaching pests hiding on the underside of leaves, inside shoots, and at the root zone. It works by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect's nervous system, blocking nerve signals and causing paralysis and death within 24–48 hours. The SC (Suspension Concentrate) formulation improves spreading and absorption on leaf surfaces, reduces runoff, and ensures uniform coverage with each spray.

Measure the required dose of Katyayani Imida as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Pre-mix the measured quantity in a small amount of clean water and stir to form a uniform suspension.
Pour into the sprayer tank and fill with the remaining quantity of clean water. Mix well.
Spray evenly on upper and lower leaf surfaces for thorough pest coverage.
Apply during cool hours, like early morning or late evening, for best absorption and to avoid phytotoxicity risk in hot conditions.
Do not spray during strong winds or when rainfall is expected within 4 hours of application.
For termite control in buildings, dilute 2.5 ml per litre of water and apply as a soil drench.
Rinse the sprayer tank and equipment thoroughly with clean water after use.
Best Time to Apply
Spray Katyayani Imida insecticide in the early morning or late evening. Apply at the very first sign of sucking pest infestation — early intervention gives the best pest knockdown and prevents population build-up.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. Repeat after 10–14 days if pest pressure continues. Do not apply more than 2–3 times per season to manage resistance.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: This insecticide is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before tank mixing with unfamiliar products.
Note: Do not exceed the recommended dose. Rotate with insecticides from a different IRAC group after 2–3 applications to prevent resistance build-up in pest populations.

Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Avoid inhaling spray mist and keep the spray away from your eyes and skin.
