Use IIL Sofia fungicide as a foliar spray with clean water. Sofia Fungicide dose is commonly 400 ml per acre in 150 to 200 litres of water, or 2 ml per litre of water. For rice label guidance, 750 ml per hectare is recommended for blast and sheath blight, which is about 300 ml per acre. IIL Sofia fungicide should be sprayed uniformly so the solution reaches leaves, stems, sheaths, and disease-prone crop parts.

Measure the required IIL Sofia fungicide quantity as per crop area and disease pressure.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Mix the measured product in a small quantity of water first.
Add this prepared solution into the main spray tank.
Add the remaining water and stir the spray mixture properly.
Spray IIL Sofia fungicide uniformly on the crop canopy.
Cover upper and lower leaf surfaces for better disease control.
In paddy, cover sheath and lower canopy areas properly.
Apply IIL Sofia fungicide when disease symptoms first appear.
Avoid spraying during strong wind, rainfall, or very hot afternoon weather.

Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the sprayed field for at least 24 hours after Sofia fungicide application without protective gear.
Compatibility: IIL Sofia fungicide should not be mixed with unknown pesticides, fertilizers, micronutrients, or strong alkaline products without a jar test.
