EBS Pyrimoon is a Pyridine-based insecticide containing Pyriproxyfen 10% SC. It is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that effectively controls whiteflies, jassids, and aphids by preventing egg hatching, inhibiting nymphal development, and causing sterility in adults. It ensures long residual control, enhances plant health, and is safe for pollinators.

Features & Benefits:

Effective against all stages of whitefly: eggs, nymphs, and adults.
Prevents hatching of eggs and inhibits metamorphosis.
Causes sterility in adults, stopping reproduction and further damage.
Controls the transmission of Cotton Leaf Curl Virus (CLCV).
Has translaminar activity, reaching pests on the underside of leaves.
Provides complete pest control within 4-5 days.
Reduces the spread of sooty mold caused by whiteflies.
Induces greening effect and improves crop yield due to phytotonic properties.
Long residual control with minimal impact on beneficial insects.
Eco-friendly, low toxicity, and safe for bees and pollinators.
Best applied when pest population reaches ETL (3-5 adults per leaf).

Mode of Action:

Pyrimoon is a novel juvenile hormone that mimics and acts by suppressing embryogenesis within the insect egg
It inhibits metamorphosis and adult emergence of target insects
It does not kill adult insects directly but hatching of eggs laid by treated adults will be suppressed
Pyrimoon regulates the transition from one developmental stage to another
Pyrimoon artificially enhance the JH level preventing progression to adult stage
Pyrimoon interferes with the molting hormone and disrupts the normal development of insect

Dosage & Application:

Application Method: Uniform foliar spray ensuring full coverage.
Dose per Acre: 500 ml/acre

Best Time to Apply:

Early stage of crop growth when nymphal population is high.
Early morning or late evening for best results.
Maintain agitation during spraying for uniform dispersion.
Maintain a gap of 10-15 days between the first and second spray.
Do not apply more than twice per crop cycle.
