Product Description :

  • Coromandel Piranha insecticide is an effective combination of pesticides with a dual mode of action, and it is used for effective control of sucking pests.
  • Piranha has (Buprofezin 15% + Acephate 35% WP) combination, which belongs to organophosphate class insecticides.
  • Piranha insecticide, one of the mixing partners of Buprofezin (Contact action), is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which inhibits the chitin synthesis of immature insects and disrupts their normal growth.
  • Coromandel Piranha, another mixing partner Acephate is a systemic and contact action insecticide, which increases the enzyme acetylcholine(ACh), resulting in paralysis and death of the target insect.
  • Piranha insecticide works quicker, and its long-lasting effect helps manage BPH, and WBPH in rice crops.
  • Like Piranha (Buprofezin 15% + Acephate 35% WP), the molecules are also available separately as Ninja (Buprofezin 25% SC) and Ortain (Acephate 75% SP) from Coromandel.

Recommended Crops: Paddy and all other crops with sucking pest infestation.
