Mode of action: systemic insect growth regulator a juvenile hormone analog

Description:

1.      Pyrigold is a pgr that belongs to the pyridine group of insecticides. 

2.      Pyrigold is recommended for the control of sucking pests like white flies, and aphids on cotton and chili crops.

3.      Pyrigold is a selective insect growth regulator having stomach, contact, and translaminar action.

4.      Pyrigold acts on multipoint of the insect life cycle, preventing whitefly emergence from egg or interfering the whitefly development and reproduction. It also makes females sterile. 

5.      Pyrigold requires thorough coverage of foliage. It should be applied at the start of whitefly incidence.

6.      Pyrigold is an effective tool in integrated resistance management strategy.
