Technical Name: Imidacloprid 17.8% SL

Multiplex Nagmida (Imidacloprid 17.8%) SL is a systemic insecticide belonging to the neonicotinoid group. It is formulated as a suspension concentrate (SL), containing 17.8% of the active ingredient imidacloprid.

Mode of action:

Imidacloprid acts as a competitive modulator of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the nervous system of insects. It disrupts the transmission of nerve impulses, leading to paralysis and death of the target pests.

Benefits:

Effective against a wide range of pests including jassids, aphids, thrips, hoppers (such as brown plant hopper, white back plant hopper, green leaf hopper), whitefly, soil pests, and termites.

Systemic and translaminar action ensures thorough coverage and protection throughout the plant tissue.

Provides long-lasting control with a single application.

Target crops:

Cotton, chilli, okra, paddy (rice), sugarcane, mango, and other crops where listed pests are problematic.

Dosage:

0.5 ml per 1 litre of water.
